December 2018 Testing Thread

Aww sock, you need to try and mentally prepare yourself for the ttc journey as much as you can (not easy), as most of the time it’s not a quick journey, and it is a rollercoaster of emotions all of the time. Like Lou said, maybe try to distract yourself by doing a hobby and not give ttc all of your attention. We all know how hard it is, I feel very lucky to have got my BFP on my 6th cycle as I know it can take up to a year and maybe longer! We are a good bunch on here, and always listen when people are having their down days. X

Lou, great line on FRER! I reckon your 4 weeks minimum now :)

My cheapie was so much darker this morning than feint line yesterday, which has made me feel more confident that AF won’t arrive tomorrow! X

I have decided to do 10 minutes of yoga this month. (i am so random) doing 2 so-called fertility poses at 5 minutes each, they make me feel so dizzy and sick afterward lol... i cant be 100% normal lol

No doubting it, BFP =D Now what? haha.
BTW these tests are £7 for 2 from wilkos not as sensitive as 25 miul but clear result =) squee

Congratulations to all of the BFPs! <3 How exciting!

Sock, we love you <3

I've had that with opks, luckily I went off the cm this time I had quite alot! As I didn't get one positive, it's was weird. It really is hard to take mind off it! And it's hard when no one seems interested in what your talking about. When I had my bloods done the lady said oh I was trying 10 years I was like gosh how did you cope. I did start the 7 seas perental vitamin this cycle,, my nails seems stronger and my hair has grown loads strangely so I feel they helped. Em yeah Im thinking that my period was 19th Nov so going with that. How you feeling today, you defo won't be getting af hun. That was a very strong line! Xx

I do have the issue that baby will be due around hubby's birthday

Got some aches today, boobs are tender too. Keep getting hunger pangs even after eating!
How you feeling? X

Huge congratulations for those who have those magical BFPs this month! :dust:
Afraid AF has arrived for me so I'm out for this month - I'm with all of you ladies with BFNs. Such a difficult journey but it will happen for us at some point :)
I think me and my husband might take December off from actively trying and just see what happens. Being a midwife who knows what maternity units can be like in September is somewhat putting me off a bit haha x

Oh can i ask what you mean by maternity units in September?

Ha ha yeah everyone says that don't they, everyone falls over Christmas..ive been told that women are more fertile in the winter? Is this true? I've just got back from zumba, just went easy, loads of old ladies do it so it's not intence unless you want it to be.

Yeah em my boobs are tender today and I feel hungry and very thirsty, my throat hurts and have loads of cm. Has anyone with bfps told there partners or anyone else yet? Oh and when's your estimated due dates? Xx

Have you not told your OH yet?

Maybe it’s not the women who are more fertile but then men? Maybe the drop in temp helps the spermies and stops the balls from overheating haha

Oh nothing bad! :)
They can sometimes just be a bit busy because it's 9 months after Christmas and New Year! x

Edited to add: It's not that that's putting me off though - just know what my colleagues would say haha x

Yup, I am a September baby myself haha. Mum said the hospital was very full when I was born.

Omg, Emma, somehow I missed your BFP post! Not sure how. Congrats!!! That’s amazing!!! Did you get any symptoms this month different to usual?
