****December 2014 mums to be! Christmas babies!!*****

Hi ladies, been AWOL for awhile with the move n all catching up with all posts.. Congrats to all lovelies with gender scan I had mines today and it's a boy!!!!

Morning ladies and happy Friday :) I've woken up with a stinker of a headache hope it shifts soon :-(

Congrats Makeme. I'm so jealous of all of you that have had gender scans!

Thankfully Friday is here! I am shattered!! I think my belly is taking another growth spurt as I seem a bit bigger today. I hope you all have a good day. Baker_Baby I hope your headache shifts x

Morning All!

Baker_baby - I too had a horendous headache on Wednesday and it lasted all day. I think it was a surge of hormones as my 'tump' is now looking more like a 'bump' :)

Lozza - I had terrible heartburn on a couple of occassions and the best thing I did was change my bras to sport type and not have underwired bras digging into me. They are so comfy and stretchy and wear them everyday now. They also don't enhance my new bigger size which is good lol. I find eatting slightly earlier in evening and a smaller portion has helped keep mine at bay. If I try eatting too much in the evening, I certainly know about it shortly after!

Jai - I've had this feeling of movement, it's like nervous or the feeling you get in your tummy if you go over a hump bridge at speed. I've also felt baby in the evenings, like popping sensations. Don't listen to those midwifes I know it's baby I can feel! Don't feel it every evening though, and don't during the day as I'm always busy. I've put a pound on which im a bit disappointed about lol. To be honest I'd put half a stone on before getting pregnant so I suppose thats a good thing. Everyone tells me not to worry too much about the weight gain as it comes off quite quickly afterwards, and my sister in law told me 9 months on and 9 months after to get it off. I can live with that. To be honest I don't really care what I'll look like if I manage to have a healthy, successful pregnancy. I'm 32 now so getting a bit past it lol. I'm 5ft 5 and weigh now 10st 6 and I think my BMI was 25 which is borderline being overweight but I'm only size 10/12 usually. I'm not worrying too much. At least we will all get really fat through the winter so can hide it better :)

Knopk - No it had the first few weeks of pregnancy but since seems to have taken a dramatic fall! :-(
I think we need to change bedtime routine as it usually consists of me on my iPad and hubby on his iPhone! Not good! Think I'm going to ban them! I think hubby has also lost a little interest too to be honest as he's usually pestering me but I think he's too frightened too these days lol. I'm sure he wouldn't need much persuasion though ;-)

Hi ladies, another round of vomiting for me this morning. Had had a terrible headache caused by tension in my neck since yesterday afternoon but weirdly as soon as I was sick it disappeared!

OH has just left for another 6 days away. He complained that I didn't seem bothered that he was leaving for almost a week, I am bothered but I know if I'd let out the tears I was holding in he would have been annoyed, so really I can't win! We haven't DTD since the time which got us here in the first place! At first we were just really scared but now I think he just isn't particularly bothered, he's tired and so am I and I always seem to be complaining about something hurting in the evening so I don't think anyone ever feels in the mood!

1 week today until my gender scan! X

Our very first baby purchase! :D

Oh Sara they are sooo cute! I always seem to be drawn more to boy's clothes in the shops.

Rose - oh poor you with being on your own again. Does he go away often or is it just he's busy at the moment? My hubby used to work shifts and work at weekends and some weeks we would hardly ever see each other which is really tough. Why don't you scheule ahead some 'date nights' in the diary so you both have something to look forward too?

I can't wait to find out what we are having. I know it sounds silly but I think I'll be able to bond more knowing what the gender is. I may pick up some vests or plain rompers tomorrow at our first baby shopping trip.

I have no idea about these prams/ push chairs the more I look into it online the more confused I get. Off to big Mothercare tomorrow to have a test drive :)

So cute Saralouise!!

Rose, hope you feel better soon.

Cariad, it's true that the weight comes off so easily when baby is here, especially if you breastfeed. I put on 4 stone with my daughter and lost all but 3-6lbs (depending on the time of day I weighed myself!) it took around 10 months to do. But the first 3 stone seemed to melt off after the first 3 months. It was the last stone that was a pain to shift.
I'm going in the same direction this time too. But I'm not to bothered as I will make sure I lose it again!

Do you have any ideas on prams? I remember it was such a hard decision when we were looking for one the last time but I never regretted it once and I can use it as a double this time round!!
Xxx

Cariad - unfortunately he tour manages a band and is basically away for most of the next two months, he'll be back for a couple of days here and there but the nature of the job means things can change within 24 hours. The only thing we have planned together over my summer holiday from school is a stay down south with my parents for a wedding. Which is something at least. I feel pathetic saying it but I don't like it when there isn't anyone around to look after me - I start worrying that I will pass out and hit my head and no one will find me for days - or some other unlikely scenario like this!

I agree - I think knowing the sex will make it all seen really real - had a dream last night that it was a girl. Me and OH both feel it's a girl but every so often I waver and think maybe it's a boy x

I'm exactly the same, Rose. I felt like crying yesterday because my husband went to Tesco. I felt like something would happen to him, or me, or the baby - it was ridiculous. Freaked out this morning when I couldn't get hold of my parents in Turkey and ended up crying on the phone when my mum called after finding a flurry of texts. Ugh, crying now. This is stupid!

Do you have a friend or relative for sleepovers so you have company some nights? I'd go crazy but I do have three cats for company and constant demands.

I'm going to spend a week or so with OH's mum in a few weeks time so that will help. I don't really get lonely enough that I want to sleepover other places, I just don't like not getting to see his face everyday! I'm so soppy! X

I'm also 5ft5 :) and before gettin pregnant my weight got to 10st6 which was the most I ever was so I started to healthy eat / diet and got down to 10st3.... Then got pregnant and now I'm 10st12 already!! But although I don't mind what I look like during pregnancy at all Getting married 6 months after babies due :s :s and worry if I put loads on I will struggle To get it off -
Not the best at exercising and dieting as it is let alone straight after having a baby! So it does concern me slightly... So decided from today onwards I'm going to try and eat better! Xx

Sara your baby things are so cute! I really want to buy baby clothes but am waiting until after the scan. There's not even a lot of just white things these days anyway.

I have twisted my back down one side today somehow. It's really sore. Sitting with a hot water bottle on it to try and ease it off while waiting on my takeaway being delivered.

How are you all feeling tonight? X

My headache has gone after drinking tonnes of water. Think I got dehydrated after being on a trip with school yesterday so been making a big effort to drink lots of water today :)

Glad you are feeling better Baker_Baby x

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't felt up to romance lately. We keep planning date nights but by the time we get home from work and have dinner we're both so tired we just go to sleep. I'm hoping this second trimester will be better. I feel bad for my OH as he's so patient and worried about how I'm feeling.
I've put on 7 pounds so far. 5 in the first twelve weeks and two since then. (I'm at 14) My doctor today said that my weight was right on target so I don't feel so bad about all the late night ice cream.
I can't wait to feel the baby move. Doctor could hear it today while we were listening to the heartbeat so he says I should start feeling it soon. Hope you all have a lovely weekend. I would love to hear what kind of travel systems everyone picks out, there are so many choices I don't know where to start.

Morning everyone. Hope you are all well.

I had my first emotional day yesterday, bloody hormones. And then I read something this morning and cried at that too. I'm not really one for tears but just couldn't stop them.

My back is feeling better today. So relieved as it was really sore.

I can't bring myself to dtd. OH has felt a bit frustrated but I've still managed to sort him out.

Anyway best get up as he wants to go do something today and is getting annoyed that I'm not up, showered and ready to go. What's everyone up to today? X

Rose I know exactly what you mean - about the DTD and the OH absence. OH won't come near me as he thinks he'll hurt the baby and I am so tired all the time I don't have the energy to argue! He does lots of trips too but in a few weeks is going away for three months, won't be back until 3 weeks before the birth. I am really worried about being on my own - my mum has already insisted on texting me every day and calling if she doesn't get a reply back instantly! I am also upset he will miss all the baby movement and scans etc. Oh well I am still grateful we are pregnant while he goes away for so long rather than TTC'ing!
