****December 2014 mums to be! Christmas babies!!*****

Aww lozza I love jane prams really wanted the trider but its so expensive.

Hi ladies!
Lovely pram Lozza!

I'll update anyone's update tomorrow as I'll be working from home. I'll be working from home for the rest of the week thank goodness as I've found the past two days so exhausting!

I'm just laying down and can feel real little kicks I'm 99% certain. So cute! I forgot how much I love that feeling!!
I have my 20 week scan next week even though I'll only be 19 weeks but oh well. I hate the 20 week scan as I'm so terrified they'll find something wrong! Hopefully not!

Hope you're all doing very well?xxx

Oh good to hear that you ladies approve of the pushchair! We got a great deal on ours, practically half price, so pretty pleased. We really live in the sticks so need one good for the country! I thought I felt movements but my midwife told me I'm too early to feel anything!

I think I've felt a few things at night when I'm lying down but not sure. It's not wind anyway as I know what that feels like. Lol.

I can't wait til I start feeling movements properly and think it will be even better when OH can feel it :)

Lozza, my midwife said the same to me last time I was pregnant but I'm positive she was wrong as those feelings gradually got stronger and stronger and were definitely the baby. So i bet you did feel them.

Hello ladies. Hope everyone is well, i try and read as much as i can but with 2 young boys its hard.
Lilac, I am so sorry you are going through all of this hun. Hope your DH makes swift recovery.
I am 14 weeks today(how did this happen?) anw now feeling little kicks as opposed to flutters. I have a nutter in there i think :)

Sara - yay for team blue!

Can't remember if I've mentioned this already but I am absolutely obsessed with cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches - although mainly I'm eating it in poppy seed rolls. And I mean obsessed, I'm having at least one a day but most days two. I've even found myself planning ahead and thinking about when I can next have one! Something about the refreshing coolness of the cucumber combined with cold cream cheese out the fridge. Think this has to be my first proper sustained craving! X

Ha ha Rose my craving is Skips still. And my new one is frozen grapes! Yum

Thankyou girlies, to be completely honest with you all (please dont judge me badly..) I was a little disappointed in not having a girl, for about 1/2 a second. Then the thought of two little boys playing together melted my heart & I'm so excited now! Baby boy was so so active at the scan, she actually struggled to get a good view, but as soon as she switched to 4D his bits were most definitely on show!

Just trying to find a baby name now, I fell in love with Harrison the moment I read it, but cant seem to find another one that makes me feel all warm & fuzzy again! Will keep searching...

This is probably going to be our last baba, although we've not completely ruled out more in the VERY distant future (10+ years), so I'm now just going to enjoy every moment of this pregnancy now. Even the swollen fingers I seem to have picked up the last few days!

I'm so happy for you Sara! Congrats on the great scan pics.

Rose83 - Now you have me wanting cucumber sandwiches! Hahaha. I'll have to pick up some things on the way home so I can make them.

Today was the first day back teaching for the quarter and I had to tell my students. I was surprised how many of them had all kinds of questions about the pregnancy. I thought college kids would be less interested. Also found out that a co-worker and friend is pregnant too. She's about 6 weeks now. I'm looking forward to having an in-person bump buddy.

Hope you all are having a great day!

Morning all. Well the weekend is almost in sight. I'm feeling pretty tired today but didn't sleep great last night. Hope you are all well xx

Morning!
lozza, I updated your dates and added in your scan dates.

Saralouise, I changed your colour to blue! Also i had the same split second feeling when I found out it was another girl but then was so excited at the thought of another little girl and having a sister for my daughter! And you never know another baby may come around sooner than you think :) If all goes well with this one we are planning to try for a 3 year age gap between this and the next.

Newmom, so nice you have another fellow pregnant lady to be real life bump buddies with!!

Im working from home today and waiting for a call that doesnt seem to be coming through, im not too bothered!

hope everyones having a nice day!

I'm off to the Mothercare Baby Event in Norwich tonight, going to pick up an Avent Complete Natural Starter Set and an Angelcare Monitor. Hopefully we'll pick up a few more bits and bobs if the price is right, but those two items alone will work with our vouchers. I want to buy some babygros, a nipper clipper and a discontinued play gym that's online for a tenner.

Anyone been to a baby event before? I know they're doing a first aid intro and lots of stuff on car seats and prams but if anyone can let me know what to expect in terms of discounts and maybe freebies? I love me some freebies!

Congrats on your baby boy SaraLouise, I always wanted two boys (though since I actually got pregnant I'm happy to have either) and can just imagine them playing superheroes in the garden or arguing over who gets to be Mario and who's Luigi when they're on the Nintendo ;) Lol, my 1990s childhood is showing!

Morning ladies. Well I have a sinking headache today, not feeling great at all and in work struggling on. Think it doesn't help starring at a computer screen all day. I feel like I could go and have a lay down somewhere :-(

Congratulations Sara!

Looking forward to going to look at pram / travel systems this weekend. It all sounds very complicated but I quite like the look of the Silver Cross at the moment. Once I have an idea of what will suit us I will have a look out for a second hand one I think just to see what is out there. I have found someone selling an icandy brand new for £300 with all the bits and pieces, but it's a purple one and think perhaps a boy would look a little silly in this colour pram! It's very sad she is selling as her baby died just after being born :-(

Oh that's so sad Cariad :( Poor lady.
Regarding your headaches, I've found the best way to avoid them is drinking loads of water the day before. I need about 5 pints a day in order not to get a headache!! I guess everything's going to the baby so we need so much extra to make up for it!xxx

I know :-(

I've come home. Told boss I didn't feel very well and she said 'go home!' in a friendly way so I'm currently resting in bed. I think I still suffer with low blood pressure which I think is the cause of this one. Just checked and it's 100/53 which is fairly low. I always drink plenty but maybe I have been on the lower side of 6 pints a day plus it's been so warm. Best up my fluids! I try not to drink after 9:30 in the evening as I want to wee all the time lol.

For those who think they have felt baby early and midwife says not possible I too could feel baby when resting in evenings from 13 weeks. It pops like mad now in evening.

Is anyone else becoming really forgetful? I would forget my head if it wasn't screwed on!

I don't think I've been more forgetful nikb but I am a lot more clumsy than I used to be. I have a feeling that falling down is going to be a problem later.

Hi ladies...

I don't think I've been more forgetful than usual but when I am I am blaming everything on 'baby brain' haha...

Congrats to everyone who's had scans recently & now knows what team they are on!

I havn't held down any food or drink for 48 hours :( feeling very rough but hoping a good nights early sleep will help. Going to set my alarm for 5am to take my antisickness tablet ready for when I wake up at 6.30 making sure it's kicked in by then. Bring on the weekend when I can sleep!! Xx

I've been a bit off balance at times but I just keep forgetting things. It's so strange. I just managed to record baby's heartbeat and send the recording to my mum and dad :) it was so clear. Don't know if I can put it on here?
