Hi girls, hope your all doing ok.

I am cd27 of a 28 day cycle.

My cbfm was still asking for sticks as I didn't get a peak. There is 2 noticeable lines on the test but the monitor did go down to low this morning so not sure if I'm just wishing for those lines to mean something and they don't.

My usual af sore boobs have been and gone as normal so i will just assume she is on her way in on Friday

Poppy that's a shame your monitor didn't pick up a peak. I hope the with dies stay away from you on Friday Hun. Make sure you let us know. I got my peak on Cd 14 & 15 am cd 19 today so 4/5 dpo. Bding was a bit hit & miss though so god only knows what sort of chance we're in with this month. Good luck to everyone still in with a chance this cycle xx

For a peak on monitor this morning. Thank god! I have a feeling I won't get to bd tonight though.....I wonder how longer after first peak reading (presuming I get another tomorrow) the eggy is actually released? Just wondering if I'll be in with a chance if I dtd tomorrow morning.... Managed to bd yesterday morning and the morning before. Sorry ladies I seem to always be moaning! Xxx

hey hun just wanted to say that you can ovulate any time between 12-48 hours, it all depends on how fast/strong your surge is.

last cycle I had a peak and positive opk one day then the next day had a peak and ovulated early hours of that morning. (I woke up for the toilet about 3am and felt the tinge when getting back into bed) temps confirmed this. where as this cycle I didn't use the monitor but did use the opk (my opks always seemed to correspond with the peaks) I got my strong opk one CD12 yet didn't ov til CD14 again temps confirmed this.

so it all depends on your surge as to when you ovulate. x x x

hey hun it's crap that your monitor didn't pick up your peak. did it pick it up last cycle? if not try resetting, it might work?!

This is my first month using CBFM. Got a low yesterday as expected on CD6, but today on CD7 I got a high reading already!? Is this normal?? x

Hi CTD, if it's your first month on the cbfm it is normal to get a few high days. I didn't get a peak on my first month but the 2nd I did. Good luck x



Hey Emma, great to see you over hear!! No I have not had a peak for 2 months but I am currently freaking out as I just got a positive opk on a cheapie test, I'm cd28 day! Hope your doing ok xxx

Not a fake it could be high and you get your peak in the next few days. But in your first month the monitor is "getting to know you"

Hi CTD I have been using my monitor for 4 cycles now I have always gotten high readings from CD6 - CD10 then my peaks CD11 - CD12 then low readings for the next 3 days.
Thank fully I got peaks on my first cycle and have only ever used 10 sticks each cycle. They are very expensive, don't think I could afford 20 each time.

Yeah I've got 20 sticks this cycle cos they came free with the monitor I got from eBay. But can't imagine having to buy 20 each time! Hopefully will only need 10 each month too x

Hi CTD,

I got the same on my first cycle using it. High from CD6 - CD17, Peaks CD18-19, High CD20 then lows for rest of cycle. It asked for 20 sticks first cycle. It through me as well on the first cycle

How is everybody getting on? I am cd 24 today. Afraid I am gearing up for another cycle with the monitor as don't think I caught this month.

Well got highs on monitor cd6-17 peaks 18-19 high 20 then lows the rest of the month. Cycle length was all over the place last month (cd54) but on cd37 now and af not arrived. No chance of been pregnant as only bd on cd28 Plus due to hubby away and long period. What do you think hate that my body is playing mind games with me!! Xx

Thought I'd just share this with you, quite funny...

My OH sees me use my CBFM every morning and he knows I'm waiting for my peak. He doesn't really understand it all though.
He just text me and said "Are you fertalating yet?"
Fertalating!?!? Lol. He said he couldnt think of the word but i know what he means! He's a bit dense bless him!
