hows everyone today?!?

i'm still not sure if little man has engaged or not, and still not really feeling any consistent pressure down there but still holding out hope that i will go before/really close to due date! OH is getting so impatient now!!! hope your all well x

My little man isnt engaged yet either... but i do get quite a few pains and pressure down there.. o well sometimes they dont engage till labour! You've got 2 weeks left.. how exciting! x

i know, i can't believe how quick it's gone! just really hoping i don't go over as my midwife is a pain in the bum and keeps changing things she says can't wait till i don't have to see her any more! x

oh dear she doesnt sound good! have you been trying anything to help bring on labour?? seems weird that its nearly our 'August Mummys' turn to get our babies out!

i had curry for dinner on sat and sun, OH is keen to i've been drinking rlt everyday, and i keep saying i'm going to buy a pineapple and just chew on the core! not sure what else i should do really!

i know it's madness, i'm hoping i'll be able to get on here when he's here (unless i go really over due) so i don't miss out on the rest of the august babies arrivals! x

Im having curry for dinner today, not for any reason though, just because i fancy one!

Luckily i can get on here on my phone so i can always check up on things if i cant get on the laptop! il prob be on here when im in labour! just to pass some time! lol especially if im being induced, told OH that he has to pack a bag for him, as i just know that he will get aggitated and bored waiting for things to kick off, not like last time when he came in from work around 10.30pm and we was off to the hospital at 1.30 and brooke was born at 2.57am.. think its going to be a much longer process this time! x

i just happen to always make to much curry when i do one! so we had it twice! just made myself a rlt

my OH has become impatient that i know that he's going to be a nightmare when i'm in labour! he's a complete game nerd so i've agreed that he can bring a psp with us to the hospital so he doesn't get bored and annoy me! you never know, it could be a quick one, with me my mum's waters went in the morning and i was born at lunchtime, my brother they went at 1am and he was born at 5:50am! so both quite quick really! x

Well we will see, i just have a feeling that this time it will be much longer as im looking out for it, unlike last time when i didnt realise i was in labour so did most of the hardwork before even thinking it was labour iykwim? my OH isnt into games, he is a football fanatic so god knows what he will do! but i might let him bring the DSi and play on mario or something which he likes playing sometimes! lol, honestly if we dont have enough to worry and sort out..lol x

Afternoon ladies, my friend found out her LO is fully engaged today - she is 37 weeks tomorrow! She said she feels different and is convinced it will be here next week, eeeek! Exciting!
Just having some RLT too, it gives me major BH but I don't care! I can deal with BH if the RLT helps the labour go quicker!
Kel, 2 more sleeps til your appt, how you feeling? X

Yer I'm feeling ok, been really lazy today, just been curled up on sofa with brooke having a movie day! how u feeling?
2 sleeps to go! I wonder what he will weigh?

Good news for your friend! I wonder if her baby will make an appearance soon xx

Well had my last midwife appointment today (apart from the consultant next week) baby is very low but not engaged although she said the pain i have been getting makes her think she is popping in and out which is normal.
Im measuring 40 weeks so 2 weeks ahead but apparently that is fine.
On the good news my urine finally came back normal first time whole pregnancy yay

Was a bit upset that the midwife did not even look at my birth plan maybe they will at the clinic next week hmm.

Decided on Sunday night after i have seen Harry Potter i will be bouncing on the ball while eating a curry just to help her along lol

Hey ladies, well I had my 37 week appt today. Baby is 4/5ths engaged and measuring at 36cm. MW said she doesn't expect to see me again now but booked my 40 week appt for my due date heard little one's HB againn so strong. Nearly had me in tears again!! X

Am feeling fine, hungry ALL the time but hey ho other than that all good.
This week seems to have gone really quick so far, can't believe it's Thursday tomorrow. And am getting my hair cut on Friday, have been growing out a bob for AGES and can now have something practical and low maintenance so it doesn't get covered in poo & puke!
I'm excited for my friend, she is impatient now and wants baby out! Her MW did say the head won't come back out now so it could be anytime!!! x

Bounced on my ball earlier and swear I felt *things* move down - bump was ten times heavier afterwards and my RLT has given me serious BH again! Am deffo laying off the ball for a while... I want to drink the RLT as I've read such good things about it shortening labour but I don't want to bring this LO on early...

Midwife came round to do my home birth talk this morning, all the paper works signed just gotta wait to see the SoM next week then alls good! Francesca has gone from "on the brim" to "fully engaged" in 6 days! Explains why I've been in so much pain this week lol.

Other those snippets of goodness I'm not doing so great, think I'm coming down with something Have had a banging headache all day, can't stop shaking, constantly thirsty AND I'm SOO tired! Slept for about 3 hours this afternoon with OH bitching and whinging at me to get up and do something productive... Needless to say I rolled over and ignored him...

Loving my RLT! I think I'm actually addicted to the shizzle ha ha

And quick question... Have any of your MW's found protein in your urine? There was a trace in mine today, which MW said was normal towards the end of pregnancy 'cause of extra discharge or something? I thought protein was a bad thing though? xxx

My bump feels all heavy to once ive had a bounce, but little man still isnt engaged! ive had fair few BH today to.. but not due to RLT, plus little man has been doing his sweeping motion pretty much all day! i had like a shelf earlier, charlie had his bum sticking right up from the top of my bump, my bump looked square.. was funny, but a bit uncomfortable!

Heppi - good news on the engagement..lol ive never had any protein or anything in my urine so wouldnt no, i always wipe first then use mid-flow wee so no discharge etc can get in my sample but thats what MW has always told me to do!

I have got almighty back ache tonight, it is actually killing me and now starting to go down the back of my right thigh Hope I sleep, am too uncomfortable to do anything else... x
