*August Mummys - Our Tri3 Thread*

Ive really enjoyed this pregnancy, Yes there has been bad days where my spd has made it so painfull to walk i feel like crying but other than that it fine.
I wouldnt change it for the world and im so thankfull im lucky enough to be able to have kids when so many ladies struggle with infertility.

Congrats to our first August Mummy who is now a July Mummy - well done Jazz, congrats on your little lady :) x

Nearly down to 40 days to go!! going so quick :) xx

now dont get me wrong i love my little lady with all my heart but i have found this pregnancy so hard. Everyone keeps saying its because im nearly 10 years older this time round. But i have been getting so uncomfortable this time round last night i didnt sleep at all due to really bad back ache and i think BH i feel so exhausted all the time and i feel guilty for thinking i want her out sooner rather than later. Sorry for the moan but if this had been my first pregnancy i think i would have had a only child.

All that being said i cant wait to meet the little lady and to have newborn snuggles and have a reason for being up all night

Sorry about the miserable post i guess im just feeling sorry for myself today

Well done Jazz you did so well hope you and little lady are home together soon hun xxxx

Jacki, and where have you been...lol

Aww thats so sweet, i get like that when i think about my little man, i soo cant wait to meet him, i get super excited talking about him to OH.. i love being pregnant to (even though i moan about my SPD, swollen feet, heartburn etc) but its all still very worth it. :) i cant wait till thursday till i can see him again!

I cant believe like you said this month or next month we will be pushing our little bundles of joy around and we will feel the proudest people on earth!

xx

Hehe I've been away in North Wales for the past week, having a little break away before little one's arrival lol. Was really nice to spend a whole week with my man :)

Yep i moan alot as well Kelly but i secretly love moaning haha. My poor boyfriend just laughs now when i'm being unreasonable lol.

Roll on the next few weeks, i just cant belive how quick its gone since we all got our BFP's. I got mine on the 1st December and that feels like ages ago but also not long ago if you get what i mean xx

oh glad you had a nice time.. :) we was ment to go away on the friday 24th but i had my scan the day before and wasnt able to go due to more hospital appointments for that week :( and now i dont dare leave my town..hehe just in case, knowing my luck id go into labour early again!

i got my 1st line on a cheapie on the 6th dec but didnt confirm it with a digi till 8th.. doesnt seem like 2 mins ago.. next thing will be our babys 1st birthday and we will be saying doesnt seem like 2 mins since we gave birth...

glad your all ok though hun xx

Thanks huni, yes i'm fine still feeling a bit emotional about it all lol.

I did mine on a FR only because i'd really shouted at my OH on the Sunday and i was so horrible to him and i'm never like that and also i couldnt drink my glass of wine at the weekend lol. But i did expect it to be a BFN so was very shocked when it was a BFP.

Haha this time next year i'll probably be starting to plan my next one hehe, think im scaring my OH as i keep mentioning about how many i'd like lol xx

Ladies, is anyone on the Raspberry Leaf Tea? I've started having a cup a day this week - am in no hurry to bring on my labour (am getting quite scared so going overdue is sounding quite pleasant) but I've read a lot about it making the second stage of labour much easier and it is less likely we'll tear/graze etc

I quite like it, but like a lot of herby teas anyway, need to go & make my cup actually x

Well, funny you ask as, I had it on my shopping list today.. Me and brooke walked to the bus stop in the blazing heat, waited for the bus to go tesco's... We waited..... And waited..... and after waiting half hour, I realised it was sunday and the bus I need to catch to tesco's doesn't run on a sunday!!!! Argh talk about baby brain!! Was so frustrated, especially after physically melting in the heat... So I never got to Tesco to buy my RLT.. I'm getting it tomorrow on once I've dropped brooke off at school! I hope I like it :). So how long you going to stay on one cup a day for?

Until about 36 weeks I think, unless anyone else can offer advice of when to up it?

Then I'll go up to 2 cups during 37w, three cups during 38w etc x

I have no idea when to up it, but yours sounds like a good plan.. I've heard so many different things about RLT I have no idea what's true now! Lol

Ooh I forgot about that I need to go get mine tomorrow too! X

ive got RLT was drinking about 1 cup every other day from 32 and half weeks, been drinking one cup a day recently, going to up it at 36weeks to no more than 3 cups a gay then at 37 i'm thinking it's likely that RLT will be the only hot drink i'll be drinking!

remember to carry on drinking it after baby's born as it helps contract the uterus back to normal afterwards! so hopefully will help get our belly's flat again :)

Can't believe the time has come where I'm drinking the RLT - 34 weeks tomorrow!

Kel - guess what name OH has decided he loves for a girl? ;-) x

From 32w hun - so Weds :) Get on it! Get your uterus nice and stretchy ;-) x

YAY - RLT here I come.......why is it when I type RLT I think BLT and tummy starts to rumble?? ha ha

Jen - I've got my RLT, do you put anything in yours.. Sugar/sweetners?? What name does he like?? I wanna know hehe xx

There you are! I haven't put anything in mine but you can sweeten with sugar/sweetner/honey as it is a bit bitter!

He likes Brooke! We watching SATC last night and there was a woman on there called Brooke so I said (as we had been talking about names earlier) "Brooke - that's a lovely name", didn't even think he was listening but a few secs later he said "I really like Brooke, I can see us with a Brooke", I was like OMG! Then he got the name books out, looking it up & what it meant and starts saying how he doesn't know anyone with that name, and it's quirky and not common - I think he's a bit smitten with it! Lol xx
