Hi ladies. Just to let you know I had my baby girl yesterday![]()
She was 11 days early (REALLY sorry to all of you who are overdue!). Waters went at 4.15am (which I meant to post on this thread but somehow managed to hijack Giz's labour thread instead - sorry Giz!!) and she was born at 2.23pm. I'll do my labour story when I've got a bit more time (and energy!). We have called her Caitlin Erica and she weighed 6lb 7oz.
I had to have an episiotomy so I'm a bit sore but giving birth is easily the single most amazing thing I've ever done - not that I thought so at the time!!
Hope you ladies are all doing okay xx
Just a word about hypnobirthing...
Now I've experienced a very quick and painful labour, I see now why it doesn't work for some women! There is pain that simply cannot be breathed through I now realise!!!
But for my slow first labour it worked. My contractions were never that painful and the water may have helped too
Didn't get a chance to go in the water this time. Although for experience and comparison it is quite nice to have had two different labours at opposite ends of the spectrum. I can't believe I'm saying that now! The pain is already becoming a distant memory lol

Oooh should be two new August babies tomorrow. Glowing is on her way and positive is for a induction first thing.
Noooo signs of anything from me since this morning's weird pain.
Finally cooked up some food for the freezer. 6 double portions of Bolognese and 2 cottage pies! Figured Bolognese will go with pasta, rice or jacket potatoes or can be jazzed up into chilli. And the mince was reduced. 16 meals for £7 isn't bad! Obv plus the pasta/rice etc but we have all that.
Now if I can study my butt off next week maybe I can relax then!! Xx
