Ow good luck Vic! Not long to go now!

I know Kelly. It must be so annoying to see all those labour threads while you are so ready. Fingers crossed your little boy will be here soon!
So awful these hormones! Hope all will be okay!

Xx

Nap time over...that was good! Lol at all yous craving take aways & sweets after me saying that, im a bad influence ;)

Vic....good luck!! Hope u get lovely big contractions tonite & will not need the induction, another baby on the way....woohoo!

Kelly ur hormones have been all over the place the past few days, hopefully baby is sending some labour hormones ur way! Just explain to oh when he gets home u didnt mean it, im sure he'l understand ur just highly emotional at moment, who could blame u!

I plan to bf but im keeping open minded cos it doesnt always happen for various reasons. Ive bottles & steriliser in as id like to express too down the road so can involve hubby but if it doesnt work out il go with ff then. Think its worth trying but its prob good being open minded too so ul not be disappointed or annoyed with self if cant. Think we can put alot of pressure on ourselves :)

I got the nursing bra slightly bigger so hopefully there will be enough room. They were stretchy cotton 2 pack out of debenhams, liked them cos they had a discreet panel with a hole for ur boob, so ur not completely flashing when u drop the cup. I seemed to be a 36f but got the 36g for extra room (this from a girl who was a c cup before :)), will return if needs be. They say to get the best fit ur best measuring & buying once milk is in but i cant be arsed doing that so hoping ive guessed right lol so uv time to get one yet kelly if u want. I also got some nursing vest tops too so wont be stuck either way.

My cramps are coming back now im up & strangest thing happened, had a nose bleed before getting up out of bed, just felt my nose trickling to see it was blood. Never had a nose bleed like that in v long time :( x

I got a pack of 2 from a website called boobie milk.co.UK last time mine were similar to an unleaded sports bra and covered sizes B-DD which I wore until milk had come in and I had chance to go get measured then I just used the others for sleeping in xx

I haven't decided yet. I am going to try bf. But im not against formula. And I think because I have that in my head im more likely to switch to formula much more easily.
If I decide to bf, it wouldn't be too late for me to get nursing bras after the birth would it?
I don't really want to now and im unsure of size etc xx

Not at all. Nursing bras are just more convenient. You'll just need to take your top off, or wear lose cami style tops so you can slip the strap and then bra strap off. No big deal if at home, just not so discreet if out :-)

Ooooh good luck Vic!!!

And Kelly your hormones sound sky high, definitely another sign!!!

Nomad, i'll end up sending hubby to get me bras, he'll love it! Not! ;-)

It's babytastic today.

We have our weekend away this weekend, yay! Just hubby and I. Hope the hotel is decent xx

Well jel. You going anywhere nice? X

A hotel near Sherwood forest, only 90 mins from home, just in case! Bought two nights away for my hubby's birthday last month. One last hoorah. Although I'm not sure I'll be exactly bouncing about!!

In other news my tummy aches and I feel sort of faint and sick. Not nice. Had a bath but didn't help much. And I don't fancy chocolate!!! What's with that?!

I'm going against advice this time and am going to express and attempt to bottle feed from a couple of weeks.

We tried with dd last time around 5 weeks old (had hoped for hubby to do the 10pm feed so I could sleep from 7 till midnight) but she just wouldn't take the bottle at all.

I'm hoping for an easy time (or at least not as painful!) but in terms of time feeding I had an easy time. She only fed 7 times in 24 hours. Slept through for 4 to 5 hours from day 1. Midwives weren't happy and told me to wake her every 3 hours, but then she just cried and screamed and wouldn't latch. It was awful. Things only got better when I did my own thing. I'm hoping that's going to give me the added confidence this time.

All that said, there was a lady at the breastfeeding clinic I used to get help from, she was on baby number three and having an awful time, where as she said she'd breastfed her first two with no pain at all. So I guess it's down to the individual babies too.

OH was so amazing after the way I was earlier.
He left football at half time to come home so that he could come make sure I was ok. He brought flowers, chocolate and alcohol free cider and said he understands how I feel. I felt terrible. I didnt deserve any of that x

I told my OH about your idea. My OH team is also liverpool but as he is going to work for sports direct in september I thought id let him buy the baby his first little kit. I've not many ideas to be honest. He likes football and his play station and thats about it. He doesnt drink. So I always get stuck. Im thinking maybe something with boswell boys on it (boswell is his surname) so that it directly links him and baby. But I really do not know :-( xx
