Hello ladies! Well, I went to day assessment. She said she couldn't see any fluids but said she couldn't say 100% that they haven't gone because hind waters can trickle out and depends if the baby blocks the hole in certain positions etc etc, she said keep an eye on it. She said the 'normal' waters defo hadn't gone because she could feel the membranes. While I was there with my bits out she offered another stretch and sweep so I thought, why not! So I had that, it hurt a lot more than the last one, I think she was a bit more aggressive than my mw, but maybe that will do the trick. Have had a few more little pains and tightenings but still nothing regular Will go for a walk later, I think I lost more plug this morning and at lunchtime and she reckoned I was 2-3cm dilated so fx!!

Wonder how many babies will be born today? Exciting!! Im still in bed but have to go shopping, really couldnt face it Still having sore persistent cramps today, feels like im getting my period big time plus baby was really active last nite, digging its feet low into my pelvis. Bit nervous this might lead to something, but prob not. Better do my shopping soon just incase lol x

Hopefully it isnt something starting now. You dont want an emergency section

Really hoping its not for that reason, trying to ignore it & get on with things but i keep nervously checking my knickers lol. Stupid question but how long do u get the period pains before it develops into something proper? X

I think it is one of those 'how long is a piece of string?' questions!

I just spent about an hour and a half asleep and another hour or so lying on the bed being super lazy. Im now really hungry.

So glad to see spinsugars in the hosp, next august delivery is on its way! How are the rest of yous doing, anyone joining her?

Done my last shopping trip for a while, never wana go into town for aslong as i can help it. Hard bloody work! Bought nursing bras but its hard to judge what size youll need when milks in. Just going to keep receipt & hope for best, feel better knowing ive got some any way. Im tired after shops, got biggest cankles ever but at least the cramps have died down. Mayb have a nap & finish off last nights chinese...mmmm x

Oooh is she? Do we know how far dilated she is?

I've not got any signs. I'm not even due yet and got my mum phoning everyday to see if I've had twinges!!!

I keep saying she'll be the first to know, after all she's going to look after dd for me

Had a fairly busy day again. Took mil and dd to the park and then shopping. Bought loads of chocolate from poundland. Yum.

Tomorrow I have a day to myself (with dd of course). Wondering whether to plan something or to have a day at home and do more decluttering. Still got under the bed to do.

August babies are starting to try and arrive. Exciting.

Been to park and beach today. No chores. Spent time with LO before baby arrives. Knackered now. Aching bump and back.

Fish and chips tonight. Nom nom. Anyone else pigging out before the post pregnancy diet starts?!

Giz....i was in poundland too buying goodies lol Some for hosp bag & some for now.

Going to lie down for a while before soaps start, suppose should be making the most of this freedom before lo arrives x

I do have to go on a diet straight away to make sure I look somewhat presentable for mums wedding in 5 weeks.

I took some nursing bra back today! They only just fit and I just realised there is hi way they'll fit when milk comes in. Will have to order some online then or something.....I have a couple of cami tops with feeding straps so will manage with those at first!

You lot are making me want take away now! I'm too scared of getting food poisoning though. It's my sort of luck. Maybe I can convince hubby to a pizza express or zizzis next week. I think they are a bit safer than my Chinese down the road.

Here's hoping - I have Maltesers for labour that I bought today, but lets be realistic, unless I go into labour before 8pm tonight they won't last that long!

Totally agree. Let's stuff out faces while we can guilt free will look forward to the post diet thread later on the thought of it tho

Pound land is a good idea for goodies for hospital bag. Will do that at weekend. Xx
