Goos thank you Lydia. Didn't do much during the day. Was a bit warm and my fat thighs were rubbing together lol. Going to go get washed and dressed to go out for breakfast with OH.

Hope your well today xx

That sounds nice, enjoy the time together! Maybe the last time breakfast together for a long time! xx

I had a nose and see what you mean. One post that is actually called 'first time pregnant' and then in another saying her daughter is 7 and a half months.. and lots of odd questions x

Morning all. Happier day today I promise!

Kelly, lanacare do an amazing anti chafe cream to stop ur thighs rubbing!

I finally had 'the breakdown' last night. I cried solidly till 1am, I think hubby gets it a bit more now and I understand his POV a bit more too. But its all hitting home, I was just sobbing I'm not ready to be a parent, I'm scared ill be a shit mum etc. I'm suprised it didn't happen sooner tbh!

How did everyone sleep last night, any better?

Giz, glad it seems to be going OK!
Buggy, I still have my fingers crossed for you!

Xx

Thank you. Popping into town soon so will have a look. Obviously in my trousers to prevent thigh burns! How embarrassing. Lol. I just put my jeans on. I got size 12 maternity and they were perfect at around 23 weeks when I got them! They were loose and comfy. But oh my! I got them up but they were so tight n uncomfy! I really hope I dont have to go to a size 14 when baby has arrived as im only 5'3 and cant be doing with looking like a potato :-(

Im glad you got It all out last night spinsugar! :-) (not glad u had a breakdown) but I suppose everything builds up and the best thing to do is share it. I had one a few months back about being a terrible mum and felt awful for not feeling a bond with my baby.
I still dont.. and everyone says they do and they love them already. But I cant feel that. Im a see it to believe it kinda girl and I felt awful for not feeling like other women felt.

I slept okay actually, although our room was the hottest its been for a while. Then some inconsiderate bloke across the stress was revving his engine and slamming his garage open and shut. At 7.30, I gave up trying to ignore it!

How did u sleep?

Thanks Kelly! I really hope it goes ok and starts me off, will let you know what happens!

Yes Happy due date Buggy! How are you doing today? xx

Hello Lydia :)

Slightly upset that there is still no sign of baby :o( I feel I have now wasted one week of my ML and only have 5 left! If she is really late I'll only have 3 weeks to adjust before I have to start working  Not an ideal situation!

Happy due date buggy, hope everything kicks off after ur sweep. Positive vibes that ul be next!! x

still waiting for a reply from mw. wondering if i should ring hospital or not ??? x

Happy due date Buggy xx

It's day 2 of the overdue club for me :( sweep yay has done nothing so far, I know I'm only 2 days over but I really thought my girl would be here by now I'm so fed up and if I get another phonecall/text/Facebook message asking if I'm in labour yet I swear I'm gonnae either punch someone or burst into tears an not stop! Xx

What was the sweep like Denise? Does it hurt?

I'm knackered. Really struggling. Feel so lethargic. All I've done so far is clean the sink and put bleach down the loo!! Got a huge list, but don't have any energy. Hate feeling like this.

Just trying to do little bits at a time so I can get something done.

Having a picnic on Sunday. Looking forward to that. DD will get to run about and play with other kids and hopefully I can just sit, eat and talk! Win win.

And please please let the part for my car today be the right one!

I know EXACTLY how you feel! I really thought before I'd be early and I am disappointed to be here now without my baby and people keep 'checking' it is so annoying!

Do they just put their fingers up? Or whole hand? I always remember the one born episode where the lady was in shock cos the midwife put her whole hand up there! Having an internal during labour is a bit different, I didn't have a problem with those. But don't like the idea of one when not in labour. I find the smear test really painful :-(

I had to go and have a nosey to see what you were all talking about.....how bloody bizarre! Why would anyone do that?? It's a bit disturbing really! :eh:

Had the worst night last night - reckon it must've been about 25 degrees in our bedroom overnight! I was going to sleep in the spare room (bit cooler and means not disturbing OH) but it's piled high with all the crap we've cleared out of the nursery and I just couldn't be arsed sorting it all out!

So....my to-do list that I drew up last weekend...I got off to a good start on Monday and have done NOTHING from it since  Best hope baby doesn't come early!!

There seem to have been lots of babies popping out over the last few days - exciting seeing new labour threads and birth annoucements popping up every day :)
