Spinsugar try not to stress, ur oh might change his mind once baby is here & reality hits. As for the cats ive no experience but had heard something about vinegar aswell like giz said, as an old cleaning remedy. Try googling to see if theres anything else you could try.

Im just up from a long nap, i seriously am exhausted these days, anyone the same? Ive never been as tired as this before & if my bloods hadnt recently come back normal i would of swore something was up, doesnt seem natural to be this tired. Duno how im going to cope when lo is here & keeping me up! Oh and the constipation?!? My whole bodys on go slow!

Apart from that we got our pram today, felt weird wheeling it out of the shop! xx

Your oh is sounding a bit insensitive at the mo. Do you think he's in a bit of denial about the baby? It's hard for them to feel that it's all real until the baby is born. I'd like to say once baby is born, if you're not up to it, then he'd stay with you instead of going to the wedding.

As for cats pee, have you tried white vinegar? My daughter peed on the carpet yesterday and I looked it up, and vinegar was recommended. It's breaks down the urine and gets rid of the smell. Had mum here today and she couldn't smell anything.

Thanks Giz. I don't think he means to be so harsh but I think you are right, he thinks life will carry on as normal. I'm hoping he will realise once the baby is born he is being totally un realistic! Ive tried explaining it but he just says I'm being selfish, so I'm not fighting it this time.

I've heard white vinegar is good, I'm going to go get some tomorro. the woman in the vets also said to ensure we use bio washing powder. So ill wash it in bio and vinegar, let it dry then rewash the vinegar and bio out, where poss. Some of it I can't proper wash as it is still attached!

how is the potty training going hun?

Hi ladies. Had a shitty day today. Long story short car seat is no good, hubby is refusing to buy another one till we are practiced with the pram we were given and were happy with it (fair enough) got back home to discover one of the cats has pissed on every single part of the travel system.
Re washed it all but cannot get it out no pram, no carseat, no money budgeted!

So annoyed with the cats. They've not done that for over a year so I don't know why now.

Had a whole load of new fleas hatch today, so we've retreated the cats with some other prescription stuff. Going to see my friend tomorro about re spraying the flat.

Baby is refusing to turn and Infact has moved the wrong way. He has moved up! So I'm back to indigestion and struggling to breathe! Back hurts so much from being upright all day and I can't even get on the floor and do yoga.

I feel like such a skank. Messy flat, pissy pram and fleas! Social services will bloody love me

Oh and I've been told on the 17th hubby will be going to the family event without me (its a 90 min drive away) and he WILL be bringing his mum back with him to stay for a week. Oh and his sister, her hubby and her 2 kids (who I adore, don't get me wrong) also want to come stay the night of the 17th if the baby has arrived. (due 10th). And were going to a wedding on the 24th. For the whole day. And if I'm still in hospital he will go without me.

He's f**king deluded. But I'm so emotionaly spent I just can't fight back.

Wow. Your hubby is expecting a lot from you. Maybe try have a chat with him. It's nice to spend time with just you, hubby and baby for while just getting used to the change and getting to know your new baby.

We battling with fleas at the moment so let me know if you get any success. I hate them, drive me mad.

Hope you get pram and car seat sorted soon.

You have been TOLD he is bringing his mum back? Thats awful! And also about the rest of the family. Id never like anyone here in the first few.weeks for.too long let alone over night.

I've told hubby she can cook and clean for us but I'm not looking after her!

I'm most worried about feeding and feeling comfortable in my own home!

I don't think she will be one to give "advice" or criticise. I just would like to be alone...I don't want to share the baby! Lol.

And if she is staying, I won't be able to refuse other visitors too. So I'm really hoping baby will be very late! Means Ill avoid the whole situation!

I did have constipation. Until this morning? I had loose bowels and cramps and pain.

I have decided I dont mind if baby comes tomoro or sat. But not sunday! X

Spinsugar - spray the white vinegar on the bits you can't wash too.

Potty training is going quite well I think. We've had an accident (hence my knowledge on vinegar!). The problem I'm tackling now is using public loos. She's terrified and won't sit on them so we went out the other day and she didn't wee for over 4 hours. Then when we got home she said she needed a wee, but it was too late. Not surprising if she held it in that long.

Then poo's are also another story.

There's a thread started by this person in the labour forum. And the question made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Imo noone would want to put in writing their biggest fears of labour and birth. I know what mine are but no way am I saying them out loud.

This person if I'm not getting the wrong end of the stick is implying they just got pregnant, yet has asked questions elsewhere that implies they have a kid. So a troll? Or it stinks of something I've heard about where people get paid to post in forums. Strange.

I'm sorry to hear about all the problems SpinSugar! That's so much stress which you can't use right now.
Your OH should really discuss those things with you instead of just thinking about himself.
A lot of men can't imagine yet how it is to have a baby and they don't feel a bond yet. So let's hope he will change his mind when your little one is here. xx

Not sunday because all of the family are getting together and I really want to make it and see them all. But if he does come, ill enjoy that too. I havent seen some of them since before Christmas.

Sounds really good about the potty training giz. And holding a wee in for 4 hours was really good too I guess an accident at home is better than in public xx

Goos thank you Lydia. Didn't do much during the day. Was a bit warm and my fat thighs were rubbing together lol. Going to go get washed and dressed to go out for breakfast with OH.
