*-*-*-*August Mummies!*-*-*-*

I've just had two hours of pampering, a full massage and reflexology. Now that's how to spend maternity leave :-)

Now back to the tonnes of housework and trying to keep hubby occupied lol.

He's on nights some of this week so that's a bit annoying as it means I have to go out all day or just sit and be really quiet!

Lets hope this full moon gets some babies moving :-)

Xx

Sounds lovely! :-)

But boo to being so quiet. I had to do that when I lived with my dad a few years back and it was a nightmare trying to be quiet as u think everything might wake them up that probably wouldnt lol

Im off to my mums shortly. Thats my outing for today. Im letting OH spend a few hours to himself. Im always here when he finishes work now and on his days off. So I thought ill let him spend what will probably be his last few hours to himself for a few months x

Decided to make the most of the last sunny day and having lunch at a pub on the harbour. Its soooo breezy Mmmm! I could def get used to this!

Xx

heres hoping , i want to be a july mummy never mind august n who goes first!! lol fed up, big and fed up!! lol swollen feet and legs aint the word and kelly knows exactly what im talkin about cuz shes seen!! lol
iv been havin bad cramps on and off for a week now. they woke me up last night and for 20 mins they were non stop!! i actually woke OH up and told him cuz i honestly thought somethin was kickin off! but oh no just the joys of cramps :( anyone else gettin them really bad now?? aww , my lil man didnt turn head down til about 36 weeks so dont worry theres still time :D xx

buggy1, gettin all those symptoms as well and doin all the stuff apart from pineapple cuz i hate it lol i need a gym ball still but apparently its only useful in early stages of labour (latent phase) to move babys head down or even lower down. so the midwife told me last night in the antenatal class anyway. iv heard the only really good method is walkin, but who wants to do this at this stage!? i can just about manage 10 mins!! haha xx

omg has everyone got a mw app tomoz!? lol thought it was just me n you kel ! lol

spinsugar, i heard reflexology was suppose to bring labour symptoms on as well :D

well antenatal class last night was more useful than the first! :D strange walking out of there though cuz alls that was in my head was omg next time i set foot in these doors it will be when im in labour!! lol scary times  but still couldnt come quick enough!!

am i wrong or has all this uncomfort taken away the actual excitement of babys arrival??:( i know it has for me.. im still excited but sufferin that much i just want him out for that reason now lol even the OH wants him out for my sake lol

I have a ball, I use it once or twice a day, my mw told me to keep using it!?

I go on walks with my OH most days, we used to go for really long walks but we're down to about 20 mins at a time now. I can manage the walking it is just I need a wee pretty quickly lol

yeah im gettin one tomoz as well but got told last night its mainly to help get baby in a better position durin latent phase. they all tell ya bloody different lol i will use mine cuz it sounds comfy and anythin to get things movin !!! i am so uncomfy now its unreal :( i wish i could manage 20 mins but the pressure down below and on my back is horrendous , not to mention the swellin on my feet and legs :( feel totally immobile n horrid xx

Sounds lovely spinsugar :)

Yes poor Charlotte is suffering with the swelling :(
Tomoz does seem a popular day for midwife. We can all give updates. I will be unhappy if baby isn't head down though!
Glad it was better last night Charlotte :D

I'm starting to feel the most discomfort at night really. I seem to have heaps of pressure on the top of my lady bits and my belly actually aches when i lie on my sides now. My back doesn't take too nicely to it either. So nights are becoming a struggle for me :( xx

same here at night kel :( no matter how i lie down its stupid uncomfy! :( in fact .. everythin is bloody uncomfy!! lol xx

Hope all of your MW appts go well tomorro ladies. Kelly, hope you get told baby is engaged like you were hoping, its so bad thst they are that off track with them!
So muggy here, no breeze unlike last night. No sign of these storms though...I sm so scared of thunder and lightening! Hubbys up st 4 for the train and I've said ill give him a lift if its raining.
I must be mad!

Xx

Thanks. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Yes very muggy here indoors. But in the garden is lovely. OH has work at 6 though, so I came to bed with him. We have a few slight rumbles atm here in Northampton. We saw 3 lightening but that is all. I hope its not raining so that u dont have to get up too early. Its just started raining a lot here xx

I can't stop itching :-( the itching keeps waking me up, despite taking piriton. In the last few hours I have been bitten on my toes, ankles right calf, bump, back, chest and jaw.
And I've been spraying myself with 50% DEET each night.
This sucks :-(

I need sleeeeep!

Xx

Too hot too muggy.had heartburn all night And now scary storm which I hate. ....

I'm certain I had zero sleep last night. Where was the rain?! It was by far the hottest night so far. I'm knackered :-(

Ow you poor ladies, you must all be so tired! The following days will not be as hot anymore so hopefully you will sleep better!
Good luck to everyone who has an appointment today! I've my 36 week appointment tomorrow :)

Mummy2b19 lol you better start getting organised. You won't be happy running around the house and to the shops to get everything for your hospital bag when it now suddenly starts. Are you still feeling okay?

xx

Sorry you ladies didnt sleep well. :-(

You sound very organised lol. It could happen at any time xx

Id like some signs of labour too. I do think after months of thinking ill go early, I will be late now for sure.

Sounds fun sorting all the clothes out. We really enjoyed it. But we didnt have anyone moving clothes from pile to pile lol xx
