Up with heartburn & cant sleep...urghh. So having a look around the threads & just realised a few of u ladies are fully cooked!!!!! Congrats to all! oh my god, cant believe its now the turn of the august mummys to start their countdowns & baby inducing antics. Im excited already. Said it before but dying to know who will go first. Anyone starting to get positive signs? Are yous all eating currys & upping the un-sexy time?? lol
Im 36wks today, still got a naughty breech baby so dont think theres much chance il get to join yous in the self inducing fun xx

Oh dear, I've had that it's not very nice

Yes, nearly there now! It is exciting to think she could come any day now. I have a horrible feeling she is going to keep me waiting though...

We've had a spicy curry, sex, I've been drinking RLT, bouncing on my ball, eating pineapple and it hasn't worked yet. I have had quite a lot of aches and pains though. Quite a lot of sharp pains in my cervix on and off and slightly more regular pains in my lower back which come and go even when I'm still so I hope that is the early stages of something!

I work in tescos too occasionally! Nothing wrong with working in a supermarket!

Ow that was a nasty time to be awake
You will very soon be fully cooked. The days since I hit 37 weeks have passed pretty quickly. Ive started pineapple and drinking about 3 or 4 cups of rlt a tea. Had one curry so far lol. And had two very unsexy time since Thursday. But its very painful. Going to have a mention to midwife tomoro.
Fingers crossed baby does big movements for you! Tell him your the mummy and they need to listen to you hehe.

Im.not sure what position my little man is in. But, yesterday I woke with pains in my legs and hips and today I have pains across my abdomen and cramps that are not nice at all. Was uncomfortable sleeping too. So I think he may be finally heading down in the right direction xx

How frustrating is it when you think it could be the start but isnt? I haven't really got to that point yet but I know very shortly I will be. Especially with the pains in my legs and hips yesterday and my tummy today. Saying that, I woke at one point in the night and was getting shooting pains and thought, maybe ill wake up in a few hours to contractions! Haha wishful thinking started already xx

Yes I know, you can't help but get a little bit excited!

I get a lot of aches and pains in my hips and pelvis and baby is fully engaged so that might be a good sign for you!

Yeh, tesco is my main job. I'll be there for years now and already been there 5 years. Just wanted my OH to get out as he had the potential for so much more and was getting so much crap from work all the time. I enjoy my job actually. Especially at Christmas! Xx

You must be getting very excited now. Im quite surprised actually that no August mummies have been early yet other than the one that was very early a few weeks ago.

Hi August mummies!

Still no baby news? Is anyone planning of having a baby the same day as Kate & William?
Buggy1 I was still thinking you are around 37 weeks but wow it's nearly 39 weeks already, time is going too fast!

We are still working on the nursery. Most clothes are now washed and part of the hospital bag is packed. Mothercare sent a new wardrobe on Friday so that's ready now. We still have to wash all bedding items and lots of other stuff. Time to hurry up now!

I'm getting so stressed about names. As I'm team yellow we need a name for both genders. We found a cute girls name but just can't think of a boys name. We don't even have a list as I haven't found a name yet that's 'okay just in case'. Getting really stressed about it now. Kind of regretting being team yellow

Hi Lydia. I do have to say, we really struggled with a boys name. If we had stayed team yellow, I think we would have struggled too.
Glad youve had the new wardrobe delivered and its readym very exciting when clothes are washed and put away :-D.
Today would be day 12 of me staying at home! But today ive decided to go up to mums for a few hours just to get out. Then tomorrow I have to go midwife and I am having my make up trialled for mums weddings in september. Then wednesday im off to the dentist! I could have quite happily stayed in the house locked away for another 12 days though! Xx

Oh I get so bored being at home alone! I was supposed to finish work on Friday but I'm working today as well just to keep me busy.
I have a mw apt tomorrow though, at least that is something to do!

Me too. Usually it drives me crazy! And if I have a week off work withlit my OH I have to go see family or shopping and meet him for lunch. But now im not fussed at all lol!

Sounds like a nice week Kelly. Not too much planned but enough not to get too bored. It's nice to suddenly have time of after working a lot!
I've been looking for a job since the beginning of October last year so sitting home for months already. I'm so extremely bored and would have loved to work up till now but no luck. Can't wait to have baby here to go to playgroups, walks etc. Will definitely not be bored anymore! xx

I know Lydia! People keep saying 'rest while you can' and 'make the most of it' but I can't wait to be occupied all the time and have no time to get bored. Even if I was just changing nappies and having a cuddle it would be 10 times better than watching rubbish on tv!

Yes exactly. And you feel more useful then when watching tv all day. I've decided to watch tv after 5 PM only as otherwise I would watch all day. Daytime tv is so depressing!
Enjoy the most of it doesn't really work when you're too huge to go out and have fun
