I'm not so bad thanks. Cant complain about anything when you are feeling so crappy.

He is right, and before long you will be feeling great with your little one in your arms

Yesterday, i sat down and OH ordered us a takeaway and i had a cold alcohol free Kopperberg. We sat and watched about 5 episodes of the walking dead together. We then enjoyed snacking on flapjacks and things and it was really lovely. And i thought to myself 'im going to miss us two doing what we like when we like' and i know that sounds so selfish, but i enjoy when we can chill out with no interruption and enjoy each others company.

So, i thought, although i want the little one to arrive, im going to make the most of the last few weeks me and my OH have to ourselves. xx

oh i know Kel i love it just us two as his my best friend so we can just kick back and chill.... pop out for dinner when we like but.......... a whole new world ahead with our babies, for us its a dream come true as never thought it would happen... but defo worried that things will be different ... but nice different i guess

ooh yes tonight i am going to have a becks blue and a nice dinner, and watch Luther together

off to my neighbours house for a coffee now - had an hour in sun factor 50 and still caught it boy its hot out there

Tell me about it, i burnt yesterday but look pretty tanned today. Not going to complain about making the most of the weather xx

Its soooooooooo warm!!! Had planned to start washing lo clothes & stuff but got zero motivation in that heat!! Im hiding indoors like a hermit, really couldnt cope sitting out directly in it.

Did some shopping yest in a very busy hot town, safe to say i was miserable lol got some more bits for my bag although will need to do some returns. Ive nearly got everything in for baby, scarey!!! Hows everyone else organised?

All this birth plan talk makes me want to do mine. Bubs still breech so could be out of my hands, but think il do one for my ideal norm delivery just incase baby decides to be nice & suddenly turn x

You've got plenty of time for baby to turn still so it is worth doing

I've got everything I need now, just waiting for the baby!

Hope so, worrying about tues appt when they want to talk about it. Suppose ive been putting off doing my birth plan cos i dont want to feel disappointed if i have to get c-sec. Mayb doing the birth plan will encourage bubs to get shifting. Ohh buggy thats exciting, im sure ur looking forward to the fully cooked mile stone! x

I think I seen somewhere that babies on average start to get into position and engaged from 36 weeks. My notes always state baby is free. I presume that means he is not breech but just moving where ever he fancies!? I have no idea lol.

Shopping at the moment is a nightmare I certainly know what u mean. Got to go out tomorrow and buy a suit for OH for my mums wedding in september. Could have waited till after baby born but he wants to wear a new pair of suit trousers to an interview he has on thursday lol. Typical! And also need to buy cellular blankets and moses basket sheets then that is everything done for the little man and its all about waiting for his arrival.

As for the heat, its not nice, but I am enjoying it when outside. Currently sitting out as I want a tan for when im bridesmaid come september. So hopefully a nice few months where I can enjoy tanning xx

Kelly, 'free' just refers to whether the baby's head is engaged so free means it isn't. You should see they will also write under Pres either C/Ceph (head down) or Br (breech) and under Lie they will have L (long = straight), T/Tr (transverse = sideways) or Obl (diagonal)

U must like the sun kelly, i never do well in the heat or sun as i just burn & peel. Would love to be able to tan naturally.

Yes thats what is written free and long hopefully at next app in two weeks he is engaged

I do burn in the sun but since I burnt bad a few years ago, I seem to be able to tan better or my burn turns to tan pretty quickly.

Yeh as for the wedding, It probably is good to get his suit brought. I cant get a bridesmaid dress until little one is born as I have no idea what size I will need at all. So that sill be a last minute thing and buying something for the little man to wear. Also have to sort out day arrange ments but I think my mum is booking us a room at the venue so that we can have little man with us and can take him up to bed rather than go home or arrange baby sitter so early on xx

Ohhh cant believe she thinks things are starting to happen!! U could be a july mummy!! Im sure ur relieved all is well, nice to hear baby is a good weight, hes thriving!!

As for heat ive no tips but just discovered that sitting outside in the shade is cooler than in the house, even the dog prefers it! Wish knew earlier as i was melting all day even with the fan on! Ive no swelling but feet feel bit puffy & roasted, i but frozen peas wrapped in a towel on them last night which was lovely x

yep he sure is! and iv always hoped i would be a july mummy ! lol never wanted to go 40 weeks or more as im so uncomfy now! so yeah i do hope shes right and things have begun to happen , unless this means nothin whatsoever and this may be happening for weeks! lol im just outside in the shade at the min with me feet in me little foot spa the mr got me from argos! bless him. speakin of argos i need to get a bloody exercise ball ! keep forgeting every time i go out! anyone else have one and are they worth gettin? midwife recommended one today along with the pineapple and everythin else xx

Their great, i use mine when cant get comfortable on sofa or when got pelvis or back pain. Def worth getting esp when u want to get babys head engaging. Go get bouncing girl x

Hey Charlotte! Glad todays result and app was better than yesterdays with the GP!
Yay. I was just saying earlier how i hope at 36 weeks my little fella starts engaging
Hoe she isn't wrong now and that he does make an appearance before his time, but preferably not while you and your OH are away lol

Hope you enjoy the raspberry leaf tea when you get back and enjoy your couple of days away hunni.

As for the heat.. im doing well actually. Sat out there for a while today and got a mixture of burn and tan. Love it xxx

Me too!

My original due date is 12 days away so me and OH were sure id give birth between July 21st and August 8th and not later.

I wont be lucky enough to make July but good luck ladies xxx

i cant sit directly in the sun for more than 5 mins my bodies fine its my head and face - am getting a nice tan though which is good..
I am pretty lucky that my neighbor across road has 2 girls and one on way so is always at home, and my neighbor next door, and met some nice NCT girls and my best friend doesnt work BUT some days at minute i just want some quiet time on my own. pretty sure ill get bored soon enough ha....
off to physio tomorrow for SPD typical its eased up now but still going.
just made chilli, boyfriend home, becks blue in fridge, and feeling so much happier than yesterday
i had a 45mins snooze today wander if that helped.

It doesn't seem to be taking too long to get a bit of color. Half hour a day would probably do it!
