What do you study? Good luck for tomorrow! I was thinking of dling another management course from home while on maternity but I think ill be just too busy!
Oh no! I bet you cant wait until u get into a bed. Is your exam there? Or is it online? No bad symptoms and chest pain has all gone! Thankfully! Nothing bad really and even work hasnt been too painful x

Lol hope you'll win the lottery soon. More people on this forum have been very lucky lately so you never knowI know what you mean though, you lose so much money when you're not working.
I'm studying Economics. It's a distance learning course from a university in the Netherlands so every 3 months I'll have to go there to write exams. The exam happily went well yesterdayWhat kind of management course are you thinking of? Yes it might be hard to work, study and be there for your little baby. Just don't know yet how it will be.
Glad to hear your chest pain is gone! Hopefully you'll feel good the last 4 working weeks! Not long to go now! Are you counting down the days? xx
So what do you do then?
I'm boring - i work in a supermarket! lol, been there since i was 16 and i'm 22 In august! But, it's easy and pays the bills, and now i'm stuck as i'm not qualified to do anything else lol and every other job i see is about £6.50ph! My OH is 26 and he works with raw meat and fish! Yuck! The cats love the smell of him some days though haha.
Do you want to do phone n numbers or just on the forum for now?
xx
Yay I have a bump buddy, we will be pairing up to do each other's labour threads, can u add it to the top, I'm buddying with buggy1

Are you finding it really helps? Those trolleys can be heavy. Its like me. I work produce which can be really heavy and full on. I was getting pains but have been changed to routines and slightly changed my shifts. Is all your time now going as sick pay? When do u have to return to work? Xx

Ah i bet that was worryingI completely know what you mean. I was like that after my 9 hour shifts of lifting etc.. got home and couldnt move, but mw wasnt concerned so i had to change what i was doing. The last thing you would want is to be calling in sick every few days, and to be honest, checkouts are no better. You get all the arsey people come through to you and that stresses you out, on top of twisting about from one side to the other.
It is good that you are looking after yourself and the little one
Oh thats good. I had 7 weeks holiday to book between April and August. I spread mine out a little and am starting my full leave on June 19th and my maternity starts 17th July. I will be going back next April, not having the year off, but i have no idea how many hours or what ill be working yet..
Can not wait now. just 15 more days in work and i'm done! But im leaving so early, im sure i will be so bored until the little one arrives!
How has prep for nursery come along and in terms of buying everything you need? xx
Yeh, my mum has said about changing an afternoon and my dad has said he can always stay with him for a few hours if need be. I do not want him in care, i would prefer me or my OH or our family to help. But i wouldnt wanna ask them to do too much. But i do need to go back to work. Mainly because of the money - but also because i am a working girl - i need to be going out at least a few hours a week. But we shouldn't worry about that until next year. See what we can do when the time comes!
I love baking! Always a good thing - get my OH to try a new cake everyday haha!To be honest, it would be lovely to do that and hand cakes out to my family actually. They have been so lovely and helpful
Im also thinking of a series to watch. I watched the O.C and One tree hill not long ago - quite enjoyed wasting my time with those lol
No doubt we will also keep looking at our baby clothes selection and checking our hospital bags lol
Yeh i know what you mean - there is certainly no rush to get the nursery done until the baby arrives. We are personally going to try get baby into his room around 6-8 weeks. But i guess even thats not certain as you never know until they are here. Is your new home going to be a mortgage or rent? I sound really nosey dont i? I am not honest lol im just making convo! lol. We are renting, and on our wages will prob not get a mortgage for a while. But its £595 a month in rent, its ridiculous! That's more than ill be earning when i'm on mat leave lol!
You could be early and so could i or we could be both late! Sigh! lol
Majority of my family think im going to have baby on 30th or 31st July.. and my OH (scott) thinks August 1st because thats my birthday! But the closer i get, the more likely i think he will be lateHopefully not too late as have a wedding on september 13th and need to buy clothes for that. Don't want a big post preg belly in a nice dress!
