Hey ladies I am due on 27th may I join I am fed up.com of being told how huge I am. Was only 9 stone and a size 10 before pregnancy but I h e polyhydramnios (extra fluid) so I am huge and people pointing it out makes me more worried!

Yes I know what you mean, it makes you wonder if you should be worried. I've asked two midwife's their opinion and they tell me I am normal so I try to listen to them and not everyone else. It is hard though!

thank god im not the only one! lol yeah it pisses me off to high heaven! my fella says he doesnt know why i get so worked up about it but it is exactly right what your sayin! its the same as tellin some one they are too thin or too fat!! i would never comment on a pregnant womans belly ever lol not in that way anyway cuz i now know how it feels. we were in a pub last week and i was comin out the tiolets and this complete stranger (woman as well) said to me,, 'oh , you dont look like you've got far go!' .. she might not have meant any harm but fact of it is,, yes i bloody well have got long to go!! lol the worst ones iv had are ''you look like your going to pop!'' ''oh your defo going to be due before your due date'' ''your carrying a baby elephant'' and ''oh is it twins!?'' lol piss off haha xx

Well I never did comment on ladies bumps. On here I say when somebody bump looks really nice n round etc but I wouldnt tell anyone they were huge or tiny lol. Only if they asked. Gosh some of those comments are awful. Especially the elephant one! Xxx

Hello ladies! Look at all ur lovely bumps! I havent been brave enough to post a bump pic on here yet :-\ Im feeling big, bump keeps getting in the way lol. Went around shops yest & it killed me, bump weighed a ton. Cant cope with the shopping sprees any more which made me sad. Feel so tired stiff & sore these days, do we ever go bk to feeling normal?? I feel & walk like im 90 lol. Plus sleep has got worse, my spd is so painful at night now plus bladder has mind of its own lol Sorry just realised im moaning haha

On brighter note ive started buying bits for hosp bag, when i turned 30wks felt i needed to. Got loads of stuff for me out of primark so if needs binned its fine. Got x2 nightdresses for labour, a nice pj set for after if visitors come round, couple of button down vests for bf, nice fluffy slippers & a dark dressing gown Im alllll excitied by it heehee.

Hope u & bubs are ok Mrs CW, that sounds really scarey!! What did they say, was it just a one off thing? He better stay put a few more weeks!! x

Bless you hun. I have to say i have not got to that stage yet but i am sure it is not pleasant when i get there. Me and charlotte were saying earlier how amazing it will be to see our feet again whens bumps go. Although, don't get me wrong, i will miss my wiggly bump.

Good job with the hospital bag! I can't bare to buy myself stuff for the bag which im gutted about. But i really do not want to spend money.

Does it annoy you when they say that? I just had a rant on facebook cause so many ppl look at me n make comments! It pisses me off. I dont walk past ppl n say "you've eaten too many cakes" or "wow your too skinny" lol xx

I get this all the time from friends, family and even strangers, it really really annoys me. I just feel like people are going on about it all the time. We are all different and bump size can depend on your own weight and the position of the baby, how much fluid there is etc, it doesn't mean you will have a huge baby. Even though I know this it doesn't stop me getting annoyed. OH doesn't understand why I am bothered, he says it is just because people aren't used to seeing me pregnant but that doesn't help. I think it is rude to bang on about how big (or small) someone is! (little rant there!)

I am so glad to know i am NOT alone! Told my midwife today and she said 'yes your business seems to become everyone's business when your pregnant!
My OH doesnt get it either. He doesn't like it when i moan about his colleagues commenting. The ones that do not even know me and wouldn't even talk to me if i wasnt pregnant anyway.
So many time i get the wow your going to be massive by due date. But i actually think im small - and im measuring perfectly on the chart... xx

It does worry you doesn't it. More than that it pisses me off that people think its ok to tell me i look like i'm having twins etc. Might have to take to replying to people with 'yeh your looking pretty big at the moment too' and see how they like that!

Sorry your having a rough time here's hoping. I've found that acupuncture has really helped with my pain - some days I don't have to take any pain relief just the ones to get me through the night.

Saturday was my 4th visit in 2 weeks due to light bleeding and pain, every time I got to hospital though the bleeding had stopped. They thought it was an area of errosion (like a sore) on the cervix but the consultant wanted me to stay as she didn't think it was causing it and I was registering tightenings of 60% on the monitor. They think its either a bruise behind the placenta or that the placenta has detached a bit causing bleeding and an irritated uterus. If I have it again I have to go back in. I'm getting the pains and some spotting still so I think I'm going to have to go back and will have to have steroids. I'm waiting on my mw to ring so I can check with her when I need to ring and who I'm meant to ring as they didn't really tell me yesterday x

Aw hun that sounds stressful! Least their taking it serious & if it means going in again, sure youl be in the best place! Hope ur not in alot of pain? Is the spotting old or red blood? Hopefully ul get some more answers today & that bubs is happy & content cooking away in there regardless. Keep us posted on how you get on & what they say today xx

I'm not in too much pain it just comes in waves so I have to watch if it gets stronger and more frequent. It's red, fresh blood every time. The mw said to phone labour ward as soon as I get heavy spotting and go from there x

hi ladies sorry been quiet - working from home today its been great no commuting and got up at 8.30am got heaps done too , radio on its been lovely wish i could do it everyday!!
off to midwife in moment for check up - my bump has changed over past few days its gone from being really high to low down guess Moo is moving on down ready for due date !!
Feeling her move today thankfully was worried on Monday
Also feel much better not low as i was on Monday
As of Monday am working 3 weeks and then i am leaving !!
told them I cant do much longer so will be 34+2 days...
how is everyone today?xxx

i worked from home again today , feel really worried now they said baby is measuring small i know its common but not pushing myself to commute so another day at home, had builders here though and had to clean bathroom not ideal but wanted long soak too!
Work keep saying how they are going to miss my support little do they know that if the scan isnt great next thur i am leaving the following week !

It is true.. when my little man is quiet, I don't like it. But his movements have started to get uncomfy in the evenings now.

Hey ladies
I've still got a lazy baby that hardly moves, honestly ten hours or so can pass with nothing then I might feel a faint squirm, then nada for hours!

My bumps shrinking I'm measuring behind now but I know those measurements mean nowt, but a few people have mentioned that its not grown in the last few weeks.
Even HV said I was looking small!

But its the fact that my belly button is starting to go back to normal that's freaking me out. Its been flat for months, now its got a depression in it again!

I had GP last Tue so I know everything's fine, just seems a bit odd!

Anyway the good news is I had 40 hours of leave left to take so now I'm going off in 4 weeks! Scary stuff!
