Hi Ladies not been on much either - well called in sick today had a really off day yesterday, tired, headache and tearful and feel pretty much same today. dont want to speak to anyone and dont like feeling like this
i am only temping but i am so conscientious usually but at minute i couldnt give a crap about work.
i dont know why i feel so down... i am a little upset about relationship with my mum wish i enjoyed picking up the phone for a chat but i dont.
was worried moo was quiet today so had a lay down and got about 7 kicks in 45 mins not big ones but felt her
but still wandering if i should call hospital
feel like a worry head at minute
how is everyone else today?xx

Sorry that you feel like this. Is there any chance its all sinking in whats happening and the big change is finally effecting you? I guess that's something that could happen but can not be controlled. It has still not sunk in for me and i think ill freak out when i finally realise that i'm actually having a baby!
To be honest, i wouldn't worry about work at all! Im the same and could not give a flying monkey as to what happens there right now. I usually love work, getting busy - making sure things are all going to plan etc. But now, i don't give a damn what happens.

Call if you feel like you should. I personally think it is all down the mothers instinct. I have the odd occasion where i think the little fella is a bit quiet but as long as i feel him a little bit, im not to concerned and my MW said he will change position so much that some days it is likely to be less noticeable than others.

I hope you can start to perk up and feel better soon! xxx

I have my 31wk appt today. But its with the GP at my practice that I hate have lots of questions that I know he won't be interested in or know the answer to. Like how do I choose where to give birth? Where do I go for BF support before birth? Etc. I've only met my MW 3 times

My mission for this week is to get my bag sorted. I was admitted over the weekend due to bleeding and contractions and we have nothing ready! It's really given us a kick to get things sorted. I'm just hoping little man stays put for a few more weeks at least x

That is odd! I have my check ups at the doctor's surgery but I see my midwife there.
The NHS website has quite a lot of information on where to give birth, have a look there - also you can probably arrange to go and visit your local maternity/labour ward or birthing centre, try giving them a ring

Ive got my app today too. Its always at my gp surgery and ive always had the same midwife. But im not sure when to chose where to give birth? When does all that and birth plans start? She has asked me if id like a home birth but that is all.

Maybe that doesn't come into it for a few weeks?

I saw a lovely Dr, she was so nice made me feel much better. She's referred me back to physio and started me on iron yay. I see Mw at my 34 appt

if you ask your midwife where all the app are for antenatal classes or to show you around the hospital where you will give birth she will give you a load of numbers , thats what i did with mine she says they go through birth plans with you at the classes xx

Does it annoy you when they say that? I just had a rant on facebook cause so many ppl look at me n make comments! It pisses me off. I dont walk past ppl n say "you've eaten too many cakes" or "wow your too skinny" lol xx

thank god im not the only one! lol yeah it pisses me off to high heaven! my fella says he doesnt know why i get so worked up about it but it is exactly right what your sayin! its the same as tellin some one they are too thin or too fat!! i would never comment on a pregnant womans belly ever lol not in that way anyway cuz i now know how it feels. we were in a pub last week and i was comin out the tiolets and this complete stranger (woman as well) said to me,, 'oh , you dont look like you've got far go!' .. she might not have meant any harm but fact of it is,, yes i bloody well have got long to go!! lol the worst ones iv had are ''you look like your going to pop!'' ''oh your defo going to be due before your due date'' ''your carrying a baby elephant'' and ''oh is it twins!?'' lol piss off haha xx

Hello ladies! Look at all ur lovely bumps! I havent been brave enough to post a bump pic on here yet :-\ Im feeling big, bump keeps getting in the way lol. Went around shops yest & it killed me, bump weighed a ton. Cant cope with the shopping sprees any more which made me sad. Feel so tired stiff & sore these days, do we ever go bk to feeling normal?? I feel & walk like im 90 lol. Plus sleep has got worse, my spd is so painful at night now plus bladder has mind of its own lol Sorry just realised im moaning haha

On brighter note ive started buying bits for hosp bag, when i turned 30wks felt i needed to. Got loads of stuff for me out of primark so if needs binned its fine. Got x2 nightdresses for labour, a nice pj set for after if visitors come round, couple of button down vests for bf, nice fluffy slippers & a dark dressing gown Im alllll excitied by it heehee.

Hope u & bubs are ok Mrs CW, that sounds really scarey!! What did they say, was it just a one off thing? He better stay put a few more weeks!! x

Sorry your having a rough time here's hoping. I've found that acupuncture has really helped with my pain - some days I don't have to take any pain relief just the ones to get me through the night.

They think its either a bruise behind the placenta or that the placenta has detached a bit causing bleeding and an irritated uterus. If I have it again I have to go back in. I'm getting the pains and some spotting still so I think I'm going to have to go back and will have to have steroids. I'm waiting on my mw to ring so I can check with her when I need to ring and who I'm meant to ring as they didn't really tell me yesterday x

Aw hun that sounds stressful! Least their taking it serious & if it means going in again, sure youl be in the best place! Hope ur not in alot of pain? Is the spotting old or red blood? Hopefully ul get some more answers today & that bubs is happy & content cooking away in there regardless. Keep us posted on how you get on & what they say today xx

I get this all the time from friends, family and even strangers, it really really annoys me. I just feel like people are going on about it all the time. We are all different and bump size can depend on your own weight and the position of the baby, how much fluid there is etc, it doesn't mean you will have a huge baby. Even though I know this it doesn't stop me getting annoyed. OH doesn't understand why I am bothered, he says it is just because people aren't used to seeing me pregnant but that doesn't help. I think it is rude to bang on about how big (or small) someone is! (little rant there!)
