Ah this thread has gone quiet over the last few days with so many August mummies busy giving birth! I can get on here on my phone but for some reason I can only look, it won't let me write posts so have to wait until I've got the laptop fired up...

Hope everyone has had nice relaxing weekends Me and OH have done very little which has been nice. The texts have started already "have you had any twinges yet".... erm annoying!

I don't have too much planned for this coming week either - have done quite a lot the past two weeks since my mat leave started and have been pretty knackered so going to take it easy from now on

It has indeed. And gradually we will all be moving to august mummies on the baby side if that exists! I seen june n july but no august n only had a quick peak.
Those texts are annoying! Lol and then when u say no, they say 'he'll come when hes ready. ." Like we don't know that???

Ugh. Ive had I think 7 hours sleep since 3.45am friday morning. That with the pain im in and my dizziness im still not 100% with it.
My tear really stings when I wee. I have piles.. & tummy cramps still but the cramps are getting better quite quickly.
Also, keep forgetting to eat which is a nightmare lol xx

Success in Ikea. Got what I wanted (somehow spent 100quid! How did that happen?!) had a free lunch and best of all my dd made the next step in potty training and used the public loo for the first time, not to mention it was her first wee in a toilet without a baby seat too!

When we got home, she wanted to use the "big one toilet" as she calls it

All the walking and decluttering my "crap" cupboard, I honestly thought this baby was going to fall out my foof. Still no signs though for me. I'm really ready now. I don't have anymore decluttering to do. And the other outstanding jobs are either man jobs or things I just can't do right now.

Haha, it doesn't get much better after birth either! Hopefully you'll heal quickly. Wee in the shower/bath if its that painful.

Well done, great labour Kelly!

We've put furniture in the nursery. The room is so bloody small! It'll be okay though. The blue walls look lush. So glad I painted them now.
Got lots of study to do in the next two/ three weeks now and so that'll keep me busy till squiggle turns up!

I feel a lot more organised, just need hubby to help tidy the lounge as I want it ready for the pool, just in case. Xx

Hope study time passes quickly for u so that u can enjoy your bundle soon. I spent so much time making sure things were tidy. Then about 3 days before I had him I started getting super lazy n doing less. Then he decided to appear lol xx

Thanks, I think the study will make time fly which I guess is good at this stage!
Finally got round to putting my fully cooked bump pic up. I think all my friends are awaiting an explosion in the next few weeks so they can laugh!

My house is a sty so squiggle could be here any minute

Hi ladies! It's my induction tomorrow. Have to call the hospital at 8.30am to check a bed is free so fingers crossed. Just double checked my hospital bag, hoovered and mopped. Now what are the chances of me getting much sleep?!

I bounced on my ball earlier and got evil cramps in my tummy.... Turned out I had to make a run for it to the toilet!! A different kind of cramp, Bleurgh. In bed and back aches now, Im a big ache today as spd playing up too! Got a half hour drive for lunch with friends tomorrow so fx it's not too bad!

Looks like it's my turn soon!

Waters broke, got a constant trickle. Got period pains. No contractions yet. On my way to hospital via dropping dd off to mum's. They wanna check over or something. Is that routine? And book in for induction for if contractions don't start.

It's all different this time. Never had my waters go last time.

This is so different to last time

I've been given till 8am Tues to go into labour.

Don't want to get my hopes up but I'm wondering if I'm contracting. It feels different to early labour last time. More intense maybe. Dunno. Argh. Going to start timing. See if there's any pattern.

Am trying to sleep but I can't!!!

Well if these are contractions they are every 12 mins so far. Lasting 50 to 90 secs.

Given up sleeping. They are too painful to sleep through.

Hi ladies I don't get on this thread much hope your all ok? Good luck Giz - I found with my first that I just felt a few cramps but didn't think I was in labour then my waters went and I was in intense pain and contracting every 3mins. I went to hospital to be checked (they had tried to tell me not to go) and I was 5cm, I think the waters were cushioning the pain which is why I didn't really notice. Good luck to everyone with c sections and inductions today, I'm booked in for induction at 8.30 today too! I'm getting nervous and excited to finally meet our little man x

We got 5 hours sleep lat night so not too bad as I thought we would be too excited to sleep. Just had tea and toast in bed then going to have a bath, wash my hair and attempt to shave my legs! Have to call ward at 8.30 to check a bed is free then take LO over to my mums house. All seems very surreal at the moment. I feel too calm!

Induction giz. 36 week scan showed that little lady was not so little and I got bad anxiety over the birth so they agreed not to let me go overdue. Thanks mrs CW xxx
