I was all ready to go to next but my sister just turned up with 2 bin bags of boys stuff from her friend who has 3 boys. I think I have clothes coming out my ears now

Ha this in between bit where we look half fat half pregnant is so annoying Though I was sat at my mums just now and she was convinced she could see the baby belly starting! Yay haha. I must admit it is sticking out more but doesn't have that nice round shape yet.

Same here ! If was thin before, it would probably be showing a little nicer.

Spuds I'd honestly go get it checked out - phone nhs24 if you can't get maternity unit. I'm sure it's not normal to start getting bleeding and pain at 18 weeks. I don't want to alarm you and there are lots of things it could be that would be harmless but I would never ignore spotting with pain. Hope you are feeling ok xx

I spent £50 in next, mainly on my little boy who needed 18-24 month stuff for next season and just a couple of bits for baby x

Hi Spuds - just jumping on here to say I get spotting (mostly after sex) and it worried me at first (read: made me completely panic), but the Early Pregnancy Unit at my hospital were super good at giving me a scan and reassuring me that it really was normal. With my hospital you can self-refer, but the Midwife was really supportive and referred me when I mentioned it. If you're worried about it at all get it checked out.

Thanks for the messages everyone. The spotting stopped; still some discharge but more of what I have seen before. Keeping an eye on it just in case. Had some pelvic pain overnight but all seems, touch wood, back to 'normal' now. If anything re-occurs I will be straight on the phone though.
Pregnancy can be such a worry. As soon as I start to relax and enjoy, something else happens !

H4R it's so hard to let go and move on without are most dearest but 100% need to look at life with that fresh perspective and don't stay too sad too long as you know life is so short and you will regret enjoying your little creations while they are small due to grief, we miss them but they are at peace you know.. sending all the love and happiness your way xx

We have started guess the weight with family and I've guessed 8,1 for my boy,
It's fun and it's all written down little prize for the closest guess...

I have a name and I'm constantly calling the name now when talking about him so I'm really worried I'm going to let it slip when talking to family :/
Our names really common so I know there will be other boys called the same but we love it and it just sounds right..

I wanted middle name but the only one we like doesn't go as too simlar to the 1st name so if for some strange reason we change our mid when he's born we could use that instead as 1st name...

See what our little chap looks like when he's here!
Keep looking at the Moses basket and thinking cant wait to see him in there and lift him out!!

Ah I have no idea what weight he will be, I'm thinking he will be quite big! Though I hope not as I'm only little (5'2)!

I definitely have a favourite name, but not sure if I will change my mind yet. It's such big decision really! He's going to have my surname as a middle name, so when we finally get married my name doesn't get lost

Spuds, what a stressful weekend. Glad the spotting has stopped. Did you have funny brown discharge at the start of the pregnancy too?
