August 2017 babies!

Haha time is going quickly! My mum has got people knitting for baby now.

We did a photo shoot today with Athena and my nephew. Safe to say that I wish I could have a bottle of wine! Most stressful hour of my life haha!! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!!

Haha we've got loads of knitted stuff! My mum has gone crazy, and we've got stuff from one of OHs work colleagues and his step mum!

This is yesterday's handy work. The really rubbish before pic is the only one I could find, idk why I didn't take one ha.

Looking good!!! I have some painting to do too. Leaving it until hubby is on holiday so I can have some peace and quiet to do it!

Thanks :D Still need to finish the nursery, but not feeling very motivated to do anything today... I've done most of mine when OH is at work... I'm too much of a control freak to let him help too much

My oh is really bothering me I feel like he has done nothing!! He sanded down the skirtings yesterday which taken less than 2 hours then sat and watched videos on his tablet and played games while I ironed and yielded and washed clothes. Now today he has tides up and moved his car junk to where I told him to a couple of weeks ago and now playing games. I suggested that after lunch we both go into the nursery and do some more work and he said no he wasn't doing anything else today. He wants to just get someone in to do the whole thing. So babies room our room and the living room! I am adamant I am not paying for that! So looks like after lunch I will be doing it by myself! Really not happy I just feel like I can't be bothered and it will all go away if he sits on his ass! Sorry for ranting.

Ah I kinda know how you feel, OH was dragging his feet building all the flatpack stuff while I did loads of painting! He needs to sand down some filler in the walls before I paint again but I'm still waiting for that too... men! I guess they don't get the same sense of urgency we do, or they are just lazy

I think mine is both lazy and thinks we have loads of time. I'm pleased it's not just me feeling that way. I wouldn't mind building flat pack furniture compared to painting as I'm scared I will mess it up but I'm sure I will find out as I'm going to start now I've had some food.

Will post a pic when we have it all set up :)

Ladies it's May!!! Can't get over fast its gone since December  how fast will the next few months fly by... :oooo: im so excited heh x

I'm gonna attempt to get him to do the sanding when he gets home from work at 4... but we'll see how that goes :P I'm not gonna paint today anyway, and then we are on holiday next week in Cornwall so not sure when it'll get done! But at least I finished off the furniture painting, which I plan on never doing again!

Ahh I can't believe it's May PB, where is this year going?! According to my ticker I only have 100 days left as well  Which means I have like 80 something days at work (or less if I don't include weekends)? Woohoo :P

My hubby is the same... Has plenty of time to play his ps4 but can't move my room round! He is off tomorrow or wed so I made it clear we are putting stuff in the attic and getting a start on things. Men eh?

I know I only managed to get him to move his car junk because I said the health visitor was coming tomorrow. But I am proud to say I have punted the ceiling and the coving all by myself. He came up half way through and said I'm supposed I managed to work out how to take the lid off because he got confused! I was like really?!? He then tried to give pointers but then realised I was doing alright and admitted that. But didn't offer to take over. Atleast that means tomorrow I can start and cut in with the colours on the walls. Fingers crossed you manage to get him to sand misscharli and pb I know I can't believe it where are the months going!

Didn't even try and get him to do the sanding, just getting him to come to the supermarket was an effort... he's such a pain when he's on early shifts!

Glad you're cracking on though :)

See, i get if I'm doing something i asked him to do.... Weeks ago, he is like oh I will do it? When?? When the kids are 10? Cracks me up haha

My hubby is completely different, I'm the lazy one, ha!

My back has been hurting alot feel like my posture has changed already. Bump feels heavy to, woke up with another stretch mark yday. Too late for cream (does it even work?) X

Sneak peak of babies room, still have a fair bit to go!

Pretty impressed we didn't argue putting the cot together lmao.

That looks so lovely PB :)

My back is okay so far unless I sit or do something in a silly position. He does feel heavy though! I can't lay on my left side either it feels like I'm lying on a boulder. Right side is fine though? I'm guessing he's nice and snug in the left side of the womb :p

Nope creams don't work apparently. Either you'll get them or not, genetics! I'm really prone to them so I've fully accepted I'll be a mess come the end.

Sorted out Mr's clothes tonight. Safe to say he'll be one well dressed baby:

Thanks :)

It's more than worth it for me to have a little one, though I would prefer to be one of those lucky ones! It's odd cos my mum doesn't have any!

I only got a few round My belly button last time. I'm preparing for millions this time.
