****** April Mummies!!!! ******

Thanks so much ladies I can finally start to enjoy my pregnancy and buy things...... Ooo purple pram haha.

Consultant just rang and I'm booked in on Wednesday at 8am for my stitch to be put in so I'm relieved on that note too xxx

Just catching up again after a few days off. So glad to see your news, Leanne- what a lovely end to the week! xx

3lm, I'm so so so happy for you! I did a little happy dance sat here with one boot on and one boot off because I was so distracted by your post. Hooray :)

Naomi, I really wish some men could go to a kind of school where they could be told how it's supposed to be done. I'm not saying your OH isn't decent, but like Tommo said, really not on.

Maybe last night was the night for strange dreams, I woke up in tears beacue I dreamt my mum (who has primary progressive multiple sclerosis and early onset dementia - she's 55) died this year before Christmas. We went to see my stepdad who was drunk and horrible, and who'd chucked away the flowers my brother sent and then said horrid things and it was so real. I'm due to go and see them tomorrow, so I guess it must just be weighing on my mind. I know she's not going to be around for as long as I'd hoped when I as younger, and I'm lucky to have had her for as long as I have. When we told her I was pregnant though, she said it was what she needed to keep her going. Hugs to you all xxx

Aww Mrs pod I'm so sorry about your mum it must be hard for you but that just makes every second with you and baby more precious xx

All the best leanne. Hope it doesn't hurt! Im just such a wimp! Xx

Ooo no they put me to sleep thank goodness but I get gas and air when they remove it and that stings xxx

Aw MrsP what a horrible dream :-( sorry to hear about your mum - sounds like the prospect of a grandchild is giving her something to look forward to though which is lovely.
And yep a bit of schooling would do him good! He's really not usually that bad, but I think he doesn't realise how much I do sometimes. When I first moved in to our last house, I was still in uni and then couldn't find work for 4months so used to do most of the housework - I've had the last 3years working full time though so there's no excuse now!! Xxx

So April mummies, what names are we currently liking??

We are still not sure whether we are going to find out the gender, but either way plan on having 3 names or so to pick from once we see babba.

Finding it tough to find names that we both like, and that don't have associations with someone bratty/mean etc etc.

So far, girls names we are quite liking are Libby, Paige, Lilly (although very popular at the moment!), Summer, Bethany and Isabella

Boys names we are finding more difficult! Think we like Cooper, Charlie, Finley, Oliver and Freddie (but not keen on Fred which it would probably be shortened to!!)

Xxx

On the baby name front we like molly and Emily for a girl and Sam and Daniel for a boy.

Thats good that you are asleep leanne, id be terrified.

I like Ava but hubby always picks the first name (with my approval) and I pick middle names xx

Ooooh Ava is our favourite!
Ava Elizabeth if it's a girl and Finloe (it's Manx) if it is a boy. These are THE ONLY names we can agree on.

I hope everyone is having a nice evening and planning a relaxing weekend!

Ah I liked Emily too Lynne but my friend got in there first!!
Ava is really pretty Leanne :-) xxx

Omg! Think im experiencing first movements today! I thought it was stretching but then I keep just getting little what feels like a bump from inside or a pulse feeling for a split second. Do you think this could be first movements?

Yes hun that's what I feel now but I have been through it before xx

So happy for you 3lm so pleased for you that's brilliant to read!!!!

Now enjoy your pregnancy without the worry, I'm sure you will!

Names?! I'm stuck!!!! Hadley we like for a boy, not a clue for a girl! X

Am pleased to tell you all that all the names you've given so far are not on my list of "naughty/rude/nasty kids I've taught"! We're going for three names, so 2 middle names, because we want to use family names for middle names. So far it seems we've settled on Jack Walter John (Jackjack) and Margot Kathleen Joyce (Mog) :)

In fact I know some really lovely peopke with some of those names. There's a lovely girl in my class at the mo cslled bethany, I've a brother called oliver, there was a brilliant sam in my class last year - very gifted boy too - and hen I was doing my pgce there was a freddie (who was never called fred) in my tutor group, he was awesome!

Aw yay :-) funny isn't it how important associations are!!

It's one of the things that's making me tempted to find out the gender, as feel like it would make the name options feel more real, and at least we could focus on one set of names. Xxx
