****** April Mummies!!!! ******

I'm watching a recorded episode of one born every minute and I am bawling my eyes out. I've watched it a hundred times but I am hysterical right now!

xx

Aww I'm hoping there's a new series soon as would be fab to watch while we're still pregnant!!

I've just realised I've got a couple of stretch marks!!! Noooo!! Better get the bio oil out!! Xxx

One born every minute what happened next started the other day on e4 it's gud to catch up xx

Im a bag of nerves right now. Please tell me some of you are thinking that when you go to the 20 week scan they'll tell you that the baby isn't there or something bad??!!!

xx

Thanks naomi :)

Oh my gosh 3lm, I can't believe I've not seen that's on. Right, where's the remote? This has to be put on record!

Aww Lynne it's perfectly normal to feel like that even when baby arrives it's surreal xx

Thanks leanne I dunno why I keep getting these horrible feelings.
Xx

It's normal hun when you want something so much and finally get it it always seems too good to be true and your waiting for something bad to happen xx

Aw Lynne I am exactly the same. Part of me still can't quite believe ill have a baby in April, like I'm trying to protect myself if something awful happens. Xxx

Thanks leanne I dunno why I keep getting these horrible feelings.
Xx

Dunno why that went up twice! My mum was in earlier and said I didn't even look pregnant so that has made me even worse.
X

Aww lynne, I completely understand, but just trying to not think those thoughts. I'm getting occasional movements, which is nice when I notice it, but as soon as I realise I've not noticed anything for almost the whole day (like I did earlier) then I start panicking. Xx

Things that have made me cry today:

Taylor swift's song Enchanted,
Taylor swift and Ed sheran video,
Beyonce billboard awards performance,
Jamie Oliver on twitter (twice this week)
And the occasional post on this forum.

Ah I actually cannot keep up with this thread!!

I hope everyone is doing well - mrsnel, try not to worry so much but I was exactly the same when I went for my 20 weeks scan with my daughter! Thankfully, after that scan I relaxed massively and started getting a decent bump and plenty of movements. I'm really excited about my 20 week scan although I do still have that wee niggling feeling that something will be wrong. I think it's just a mother thing though, it's your job to worry about them!

I have been really struggling with my hips and pelvis this week. I have SPD/PGP so have just gotten referred to the physio again. Last time they did seem to make it a bit better but they give you a list of things to try and avoid such as hoovering and lifting heavy things...11 month old babies are heavy and require a lot of hoovering up after though so I'm screwed really!

My bump seems to have really popped this week too - OH looked and me yesterday morning and said "You're pregnant!" like he didn't know already! He was being really nice yesterday though and ran my a nice bubble bath with candles, so I think now it's a bit more real for him (ie. I have a bump and he's heard the heartbeat) he's realised how knackered I am being pregnant and running round after A. Long may this continue...I'm hoping for a big fat diamond ring sometime soon too ;) xx

Pretty sure I've stated to notice some beginnings of marks :(

Does anyone else's skin hurt? I have a patch that feels really sore!

Haven't noticed skin hurting no. Am currently soaking my skin in bio oil to try and stop these marks spreading!! I want to have a cute bump not one covered in stretch marks!! Xxx

Ooh lots of chatter! Everyone seems to be doing well though! I am feelkng a bit sorry for myself today. Sore boobs banging headache achy hips and back and im only 17 weeks! God help me.

We havr narrowed baby names down to mia grace or marley rose. Love both but not decided yet.

I also havr stretch marks starting now bump is really bump rather than bloat! Smothering the bio oil on in a desperate attempt to prevent them spreading!

Hope everyone and their bubbas are well tonight!

Xx

I have some faint lines around my belly button, I've used bio oil but resigned myself to trying not to worry too much. I have great belief in bio oil as I had some bad scaring on my arm from on accident and bio oil has made it practically invisible, so I'm assuming/hoping it'll sort any stretch marks out.

I'm so very tired this week, can't sleep at all and my OH doesn't really get it. He's off to work today so I'm going to take advantage of being lazy as hell!
