Oh they are devine! They are vodka (vanilla I think), Chambord (a raspberry liquor) and pineapple juice. They are so yummy! Hubby has already promised me that we will go for lunch the first week or two when baby is here and he will drive to let me have 1 with lunch!

I've just had a pregnant woman cry in the car as I wanted a choc milkshake from McDs but realised that we cant have them!!!! So I then got a cheeseburger and fries and irn bru and only ate half! I was distraught!

It's to do with the machine theu come out of. It's like a ice cream van even though it's pasteurized milk etc the machine harbours all the germs inc Listeria ( I think of top of my head) and other harmful germs to the baby. With my son I ate and drank both but when I went in with a strawberry milkshake to the hospital a midwife told me off and give me the whole can can't eat lecture xx

Afternoon m'dears!!! Didn't make any big purchases today.... Still really liking the graco Quattro tour deluxe bear and friends from toys r us, BUT it is very chunky when collapsed. So easy to use though and lots of little useful bits and bobs with it. Really torn!!
Got a couple of gender neutral sleep suits and some mittens. Also got a few Xmas presents for friends kids. So not too bad a shop success wise!

I've been steering clear of milkshakes and mc flurries too as I'd heard about the listeria risk. The odd one probably won't hurt though- its a risk but not an inevitability and all that

Sorry ladies,
My sis and bro in law just popped in. Yeah 3lil and Naomi are rite about the milkshake and mcflurry thing. Also traces of salmonella have been found on the nossles of the machines used to make them. However like Naomi said im sure the odd one wouldn't hurt but known my luck that would be the one with it!
I'm thinking of getting a blender and vanilla ice cream and choc sauce and making my own as im really really wanting one!!

Ooh ladies when we are all mummies il make and deliver French martinis! But like you Naomi, im also planning on breast feeding.

We've been out looking at prams and travel systems today. Has demos at mothercare, baby's r us and a mamas and papas factory shop. Very nearly bought the mamas and papas zoom. They had it on clearance in store for £150! It's normally £479 but is on offer for £249 online. We might go back tomorrow and get it
