Twinkles hun don't worry it is hard but so much easier of it's possible lol my daughter and son have 13 months between them and I found it a lot easier when my son arrived plus as he got bigger my daughter would play etc with him. With the second you know the do's and dont's and I got my son into a routine asap unlike my daughter haha. You will be fine hun xxx

Hope everyone's appointments have gone well. Time seems to be flying by!

Despite us saying we wouldn't buy anything yet we've ended up seeing quite a few offers so have got a bit over excited and bought our nursery furniture and our car seat. We got Mamas & Papas Fern in white, the 3 piece set as it had a big chunk off. Then we got the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix in Intense red. It's ridiculous how exciting it was getting it all. I'm going to sit on my hands until after Christmas as I've got the bug for baby buying ha! x

Been a bit AWOL on this thread life been hectic!

Just had a quick catch up, nice to see everyone's 16 week appointments are going well and coming up! Mine is next week!

I'm starting to worry a little how I will cope, B will be 18/19 months when lo arrives, I'm getting flash backs of the newborn days, and trying to figure how I will manage to do anything!!!!

B still wakes in the night for a feed and can't see her dropping it any time soon, we have tried everything and it seems the best option is just to feed her and get back to sleep! She's a grazer not a massive eater in one go so I have cone to the conclusion she must have a small tummy as she wants a good feed in the night.... Really hope she can sleep through by the time no 2 arrives!!!! Zzzzzz

I hear ya sister! A still wakes for a feed during the night - I say it's for a feed but she usually just latches on and off for a couple of minutes before I go and put her back to bed. We've only just got her sleeping in her cot! Before I had to walk her to sleep in her pushchair every night so I haven't tried anything to drop the feed yet, but I'm pretty sure she can't be hungry and it's either for a wee drink or just a cuddle! Hopefully both of them will sleep through by the time the newborns arrive!xx

I'm a bit down in the dumps and worried as I'm now on day 3 of what seems like its a stomach bug but my other current theories are a reaction to the flu jab (since I react to most things, why not that too) or an unexplained bad bout of ibs.

I rang 111 tonight, they recommend seeing chemist tomorrow but may well ring midwife beforehand. If I'm no better by monday I'll see the gp

Not sure how long naomi, but I do know that we're to expect to change 10 to 12 nappies a day at least to begin with. I'm feeling a bit better today, thank goodness. Going to the pharmacy later to get some pregnancy friendly remedies in in case I need it in the future. I don't like taking anything normally, and am avoiding it at the moment. I see my gp for my new epipens on 4th anyway, so can always talk about it then.

I was wondering the same thing about nappies, Naomi - I did read that you should expect to use about 60 nappies a week too. Eek!

Well today is the first day I've ignored my work uniform and just had to put a dress on. My leggings are officially tight and my tunic whilst it fits, looks a bit strained when I'm sitting down! I seem to be at that awkward size where I can see people wondering am I pregnant or just fat!! Xxx

My daughter was in newborn for 2-3 weeks maybe then into size 1. If your going to stock up do different brands as some nappies don't agree with the shape of some babies bums

All 3 of mine were in newborn for about 2-3 months as they were all premature they started in micro lol small enough for a doll haha xx

Well sickness returned today. Hopefully it was a one off!
I got 2 packets of size 1 pampers which say they should fit babies 6 to 11lbs. Il pick up a few packets of the newborn size too. Yeah naomi iv heard that we'll need about 60 to 70 nappies a week!
