Is anyone using reusable nappies? We're going for the Pop In ones. X

Don't go crazy on nappies - I know it's nice to feel prepared but they grow so quickly in the first few weeks that you'll waste loads if you buy too many! I'm always seeing size 1's and 2's in the charity shop! A was in size 1's for a couple of weeks and then in size 2's for maybe 6-8 weeks.xx

I think it's going to be a case of giving it a go and hoping for the best. My sister used them and loved them so that's where we got the idea from. X

Morning ladies. Not checked in here for a while. Good to see everyone is generally well. Hope your feeling a bit better MrsP. I'm feeling rotten at the mo. hubby had man flu last week and I had very little sympathy for him. Well, it seems I caught it and suffered the worst of it yesterday :'( Spoke to docs who confirmed just stick with paracetamol but use a lower dose. Just feels like a bad cold today so on the mend it seems.
Anyhow, we've booked a private 3D/4D scan for 16+6 and we're pretty sure we're gonna find out the sex - very excited!
Is anyone finding out the sex and keeping it a secret between hubby and themselves? X

Yes, we will find out sex and keep it to ourselves. We didn't want to know last time but the stupid sonographer blabbed anyway! We kept it to ourselves and just bought neutral stuff anyway so it was nice having a secret xx

Currently trying to motivate myself to take the dog out for a walk! Weather is horrible. Then off to babies r us to do a bit of window shopping or actual shopping if we see something really nice!! Xxx

Oh lovely hun. I can't wait to have the amniocentesis so I can start shopping then. I've just bought 6 packs of 45 pampers newborn nappies of eBay, the seller only lived round the corner and done them for 4 quid each so bargain! Also got a few packs of wipes as Morrison's hasbthe Johnson baby wipes for 89p so couldn't let either go xx

Good on you 3lil, that's a great bargin! When are you getting the further test? How are you feeling?

I've just had a pregnant woman cry in the car as I wanted a choc milkshake from McDs but realised that we cant have them!!!! So I then got a cheeseburger and fries and irn bru and only ate half! I was distraught!

Aww bless I'm like that I really wanted a crunchie mcflurry and couldn't . I'm feeling better now going to eat some chocolate cake lol. I have my consultant on 4th so I will arrange it then but I was told o can book in as soon as I'm 16w so not too long to wait xx

Oh mcflurries too! I was gutted when they brought out the malteser one as that's my favourite choc. The list of what im eating the day I get home with baby is getting longer!!
