Hi girls!
I just wanted to check in and say we all arrived back in the UK in one piece, have settled into our new place and had our wifi switched on yesterday so I'm back online now!
One of the first things I did was register with my local GP and I booked an appt straight away because I was running out of my anti-sickness meds. The doctor I saw was completely useless and just wanted to talk about his son who lives in Australia!! He told me to stop taking my meds and wouldn't give me anything else instead, he just told me if I'm sick I have to live with it and rehydrate myself afterwards!! He didn't tell me about booking in with the midwives or anything. So I then spent the following week trying to manage without any medication and by Sunday evening I was at the walk-in GP at my local hospital begging him to give me something because I literally got to the point where I felt so constantly nauseous that I couldn't get out of bed. The doctor stuck 2 needles in my wrist and knee while I was there and gave me some medication to try. He also said that most anti-sickness medication is safe during pregnancy. I told him I have an acupuncture session booked for today and he was really positive so I'm hoping it'll work well. I'm also finding that since the doctor put the needle in my wrist on Sunday the wristbands are really helping whereas they did nothing before. Anyway I feel a million times better than I did so I'm hoping I might have it under control now... fingers crossed anyway!!
How is everyone else?
Bexee I would have gone mental too, that's horrific.
