_>•~*X*~July 2015 Mummies-to-be!!!~*X*~•<_

P0 will mean Para 0, I believe, which means you've not got any children currently/have not yet had any pregnancies which you've carried to a viable fetal age.

I have a text print out from my 12 week scan but I don't think it mentions the placenta, I'll have to check again. It does have a line which looks a bit like a ruler with a black dot a bit before the middle point, not sure what that refers to.

I'm seeing my midwife tomorrow at 15+1 for my 16 week appointment, so your midwife might do everything in that one appointment, Boosh.

xx

Kwarbee - Ah right will that makes sense then! Will you let us know if she listens to the heartbeat at this appointment please? If she does I may have to get OH to come with me as he's itching to hear it again coz he was blown away by the fact we heard it at our 9 week scan! xx

Evening ladies, I'm also eating everything and anything I've taking a liking to bowls of frosties and Jacobs crackers with butter and jam also toast with dairy lea cheese on I just can't stop myself lol.

Oh I can't remember which thread it was we were on about the bounty packs I have had a reply ! As follows hope it's ok to post on here lol :
Dear Angela,

Thank you for getting in touch with Bounty to request a Pregnancy Information folder.

The Pregnancy Information folder should be made available to you by your midwife. It may also be provided at your 12 week or 20 week scan during your visit to the antenatal clinic.

If this is not the case then please let us know the address of the surgery/antenatal clinic you attend & we will endeavour to ensure more Pregnancy Information folders are made available at this location (assuming this location wants to supply Bounty packs).

Alternatively, if you provide the following details to the midwife on your next visit they can make contact with us & order some more folders:

Bounty Field Support, Tel: 01707 299 229.
[email protected]

Our aim at Bounty is "Giving Mums More" & we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in us. We hope you enjoy all that the Bounty Club has to offer.

Please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team if you have any further questions or require any additional information - you can call us on 0800 316 9341.

Kind Regards,

So ladies keep asking if you have not been given your bounty pregnancy folder I shall be asking again at my next midwife appointment and then at the 20 week scan :)

I remember when I was at the hospital for one of my later scans, there was a bunch of the first bounty packs just in a big tub thing in the ultrasound waiting room with instructions to help yourself, which was nice.

I got my Emma's Diary pack today, but not the first one cause they'd run out, so, I got the last one instead... Lol

Couple good bits in it. Nothing wonderfully life-changing.
I think the ED packs are better for free stuff, and bounty are better for information.

16w midwife tomorrow at 10:30. Looking forward to that :)

Hope everyone's well xx

My 16 week appointment is tomorrow too! At 11am. :-)

Does anyone still feel like they can't relax yet? I'm nearly 16 weeks but still worry every day that something's gonna go wrong. Is this normal!? :-(

Been cleaning the house today hoovering and mopping think I may have done to much :(
CTD I think it's normal to worry that something will go wrong I did in my first pregnancy and i have in this one too :)

CTD im still so worried too. Woke up this morning with horriric pains in lower abdoman both sides. I was doubled over and they took my breath away but soon passed. Im adamant this is a bad sign :( but my maternity unit (closest one) the midwife always seems to be a grumpy cow whenever i have to ring up (only rang twice) so been put off ringing again but really worried. Theyve now just turned into AF cramps but surely i shoukdnt still have these at almost 15wks?!?!
on a brighter note - sickness has totally gone!!! Touch wood! Not been sick since sunday!

Xxxx

Claire, sorry to hear you're having pains. Can you take a day off and relax? Sounds like your body might need a rest xx

Morning all

Hope you are all well!

This is my bump this morning!! It's deffo not bloat now :)!

xx

What a cute tidy bump!

Claire, if you're really worried but don't want to call the grump, ring 111 and see what they say? Glad to hear the sickness has finally eased off at least.

Just waiting in the docs now. Surprisingly excited over my MW appointment now, lol xx

Fab bump pic Boosh! Can't wait to start getting a proper bump

Sorry to here you're not feeling well Claire, hope the pains ease off soon!

Well the day has arrived, the long awaited first scan, excited and nervous all at the same time, sounds silly but I feel like they are going to scan and say Iv made the whole thing up lol just doesn't feel real yet! Hopefully today will confirm all is ok, and I can start enjoying it Scan is at 12! Straight to work after, but hopefully I will have time to update you all.
Fingers and toes crossed

Xx

Well im off to the docs this afternoon as im an emotional mess and dont know how to handle it! So will ask about pains then.

Hope your all okay xxxx

:dance:Yay Kaylip!! Hope all goes well with the scan - i'm sure all will be fine! Looking forward to seeing the pic of your little one! xx

Claire - I'm so sorry that you are feeling like this I hope the Dr can help & you start to feel better soon! xx

Enjoy your scan Kaylip :)

Hope docs help you out Claire.x

All the best for your scan today, Kaylip.

Had my 16 week midwife appointment today. She couldn't find the heartbeat. Freaking out and very upset. Posted a thread about it and know it's difficult at 15 weeks to find (apparently) but can't seem to accept that.

Lacey and CTD, did the midwife find yours?

Boosh, lovely bump.

xx

Just replied in the thread you started Kwarbee.
Sorry you came away disappointed. I know if I was in your situation I would be the same as you. But as an outsider I just think if the midwife seemed ok with it all you don't have to worry. If you aren't able to get another midwife appointment you could always consider a private scan...costly I know but would save 5 weeks of anxiety.x

Just had the appointment. She did find heartbeat but wasn't too impressed when I told her I have a Doppler lol cos she said baby can be hiding sometimes and hard to find it. So maybe your baby was just hiding? She did warn me before she might not find it, but smiled when she felt my belly cos think baby was right at the front.

She guessed what I'm having too, she said a girl so will be interesting to see if she's right! x

Yeah, I think baby was hiding at the back maybe, not sure why it's not making me feel any better about it. It's lovely that you got to hear yours.

It doesn't help that I don't really like my midwife. She's very dippy and forgetful and I don't feel like I can trust her. She wasn't reassuring in the slightest, but I guess it's all normal to her.

My OH and I are already considering a private scan. It's £50 but I know I'm going to be fretting about this now for 5 long weeks. Pathetic, I know xx

Aww not pathetic Kwarbee I would be the exact same hun

My midwife is so ditsy it's unreal even my friends have told me this too which is terrible really
I really loved my first midwife but we have moved so all change : (

Hope your feeling better soon Claire and doctors go well

Boosh lovely tidy bump

I was really worried as mine seemed to flatten a bit again today : (
But I did wake up at 2am this morning with pains across my chest had to lie on my back which made it ease was really strange couldn't lie on my side
No problems today tho

Oooo and my free pelvic floor excercises dvd just turned up yay Lord knows I need it : ( x

I don't think you're pathetic at all, I'd be exactly the same.
At the end of the day, £50 isn't that much when it could provide so much reassurance and keep you calm over the next 5 weeks.x
