_>•~*X*~July 2015 Mummies-to-be!!!~*X*~•<_

Haha. In glad it's not just me who's impatient with oh. I ask him todo something and get annoyed when it isn't done immediately!! Haha.

I have the bump to birthday. It's so lovely!! As for headaches I was experiencing them right through December, but haven't had them for a while now!! Bet that will all change now I've said it out loud!! Let's hope not!x

Don't be too hard on them, ladies. Poor men are going through some weird shit too. It's not just us that pregnancy affects.

Of course, I'm biased.

Five more weeks and OH will be here for like, eight days :)

Then I can moan at him to get the furniture moved around :) xx

Hi ladies

Great bump picture, Lacey. I definitely feel like mine is more bump than bloat now, and I keep getting bump comments from work colleagues!

Sorry to hear that some of you have been suffering with headaches. I've had a few and find that drinking a pint of water usually helps me.

Discharge - Laura, mine is pretty much identical to what you've described. I've not worried at all about it as it's been like that pretty much from the beginning and I've read that it's pretty normal.

Crawkay - I've got the bump to birthday journal, it's lovely :)

Flutters - I thought I must be going crazy last week but I swore that I could feel something, 4 days in a row! It felt like a bubble expanding in the area where I think my uterus is. Very strange and very, very subtle. Not convinced it was baby as it seems so early, especially for my first, but it was odd!

Kaylip - All the best for your scan on Thursday!

Feeling - Hungry!

Hope you're all well xx

This was my bump at 13+6 :cheer:

xx

Great bump pics, I feel mine more when I am sat down and everything is squashed up!

Just picked up my Emma's diary mum to be pack from Argos and it's pretty good, got nice set of Johnsons things, some cereal and a 0-3 month vest from verbadut, plus all the usual vouchers etc, oh and an always panty liner! Can't find the bounty packs anywhere though, everywhere says they haven't had any since before Xmas. Anyone else having problems?

Also, 20 week scan booked for 24th Feb. It's at 2.30 though, so dh won't be able to come as he'll be at work, but at least he'll be there for the 16 week one on the 31st when we will be finding our gender anyway.

Cute bump pics.
Question...is that how it looks all the time or are you sort of pushing out there? I can make mine look pretty much that big if I want to but then when I'm just sort of resting it's not as big. I guess that suggests it's still just bloat.

Also, when filling out your pregnancy journals how do you refer to yourself?
Like on the first scan page it say's 'who was there', I feel daft if I write mummy and daddy :/ x

Wow nice bump going on there Kwarbee
I think everyone differs some pop early some later
They say you show quicker with your second or third and so on
I have just started with my bump it's only little tho
I'll be 16 weeks Tuesday but think I didn't start showing till 18 weeks last pregnancy
I did read that baby has a big spurt from 16 weeks so we will see what happens :) x

I still need to pick up my Emma's mum-to-be pack. Thanks for the reminder, Toni! Not sure about the bounty packs, isn't that something your midwife usually gives you? Or am I thinking of something else?

Crawkay - That's pretty much how I look all day now, though I'm convinced it's still majority bloat! In that picture I was just kind of standing there relaxed, not sucking in (like I tend to at work) or pushing out (because that hurts ). I think I've 'popped' early because I'm short with a little torso! I guess it depends on your body shape, etc. I started taking weekly pictures at 10 weeks because my journal has spaces for pictures. Look forward to seeing your bump pictures, ladies!

In my journal I do call my OH 'daddy' or 'dad' when I'm talking about him but I haven't referred to myself as mummy in there yet. I write in first person so I think that's why.

xx

Hey ladies! I'm joining you all over here now I've had my scan! Been put forward 2 days so due 25th July. Baby was so active during scan. Was amazing! Hopefully photo uploads. Such a relief that everything is ok. 20 week scan is 6th March. We were going to stay team yellow but decided today going to find out if possible at next scan. On a good note got my test results back for down's syndrome 1 in 73945

Evening all! Loving the bump pics, I'll have to do one this week as it definitely is bigger than my normal pot belly lol... Still able to hide depending on what I wear, but not for much longer I reckon..!

On the tmi discharge topic - me too!! I think it must be normal. Had a cracker of a headache for two days last week too but luckily not since, and a massive nausea wave on Sunday, that hasn't happened for a while.

On the journal topic - I also have Bump to Birthday, Christmas prezzie from hubby :) Is everyone managing to fill theirs in each week? I'm so behind :/

Congrats BonzE on becoming a godmother!!

As far as test results go, I'd just assumed I'd hear back at the 16 week appointment - should I be worried if I'm not hearing things back already?? I'm still trying to get answers on whether or not I need to be taking aspirin. The Internet is a nightmare for causing worry but thankfully this forum is the opposite!! :D

I had a test on Friday with the doctors as thought I had a UTI - he wanted it doing so I can be reassured, but the receptionists just don't give a hoot! My hubby told me to stop looking on the internet as it was getting me really distressed! On the tmi discharge - has everyone had it from when they first found out they were pregnant? I noticed I'm not going to the toilet as much as I was, but I'm in my 2nd trimester now and read you can ease off needing the toilet so much?

Yep tmi discharge here too lol I first thought it was a bit like clear bogies lol but yes it's normal as far as I'm aware had it in my first pregnancy too but of course of your worried give the midwife a shout for reassurance

Only 4 weeks till nhs scan : ( x

Im at the gym and i feel such a heffa :( people obviously think i put alotttttt of weight on and ate too many pies over xmas :( xxxx

Kwarbee - there are several bounty packs - you usually get the first one from your midwife at your booking appointment. Then within that is a form to complete which you take to Boots, Superdrug or Asda to get the next one which is the mum to be pack. From memory I think you then get then next one from 'the bounty lady' in hospital just after you have given birth (she also comes round to do your first pictures of the baby), then there is a family pack to collect after you have had the baby. I did eventually manage to find the mum to be pack at a larger Asda store with a pharmacy. Not as good at the Emma's diary one though. It did include a whole load of vouchers for freebies that you had to order on line, but when I looked at it last night they were all from America and had P&P for about £15 each! Thought they looked great at first as they included bump bands, a baby sling, a car seat canopy, a breast feeding cover up, all things I wouldn't necessarily buy but I thought as they were 'free' I could try them out, but not for £15 P&P each! If they were definitely things I wanted to have for LO I might be tempted, but they are nice to haves rather than must haves.

Also, got NT results yesterday, risk of 1 in 100,000! So very relieved and happy with that. Just 2 1/2 weeks to 16 week scan now! Can't wait to see little fidget again and hopefully find out what flavour it is!

Those of you planning on making any of the bigger purchases from Mothercare, if you sign up to there parenting club (can't remember the actual name) they send emails with vouchers and one is for £10 off when you spend over £100.
Not a massive saving but better than a poke in the eye.x

Good news about the NT result. I'm not having my blood tests until next Thursday, just another thing to get me nervous, wonderful.

Is the 16 week scan a private one?x

Afternoon everyone

I got a letter last week saying that the NT result had come back as low risk and nothing further would need to be done, but the midwife would discuss the exact results at my next appointment. Was everyone else's exact result just in the letter? AnotherYou - I wouldn't be too worried, it seems to be different everywhere and I'm sure they would have notified you if there was anything to be concerned about.

I have my 16 week midwife appointment on Thursday, a week early! Hoping we might hear baby's heartbeat, does that happen at that appointment??

Wonderful news about your scan mrsolly, and a lovely picture. Congratulations!!

Katyjane - I would keep hassling the gp practice about it until you get an answer. Mine are useless like that too! I'm definitely not going to the toilet as much, it's normal for tri 2 as your uterus has lifted up and is not pressing on your bladder as much.

Laura - That does sound tempting and a good deal, plus you'd get things extra that you won't at your NHS scan. But if it's the gender you're so keen to find out then 4 weeks isn't too long to wait :) I've got 6 months to wait

xx
