Most places now, you call your GP, tell reception you're pregnant. They sort out a MW appointment, and that's it.
The appointment usually falls between 8-10 weeks, then the MW Will book your scan for as close to 12 weeks as possible.
Doctors now don't often require you to go in, as the pregnancy test a GP used to do before getting a MW is the same as POAS, so... If you call and say you're pregnant, you're pregnant.
I'm sorry I started a cereal craze... Damn Golden Nuggets for me... Bowls an bowls of 'em.
Although I could murder a bowlful of cornflakes right enough.
I know a few people are booking in today... Best of luck
Be sure to come tell us all what it was like.
I had the bloaty yesterday for about an hour. That was some fun discomfort /sarcasm.
Still no real "pregnancy symptoms" though.
Honestly, I know some of you ladies are desperate for symptoms to "prove" you are pregnant, but, (like I said already): I'm a huge pain-wuss.
I'm glad I have no symptoms (thus far, knock on wood), but then, when I had my lil boy I had no symptoms either, so, I guess I just don't need that "confirmation" as such...
I'll be moaning by the end of today, right enough though. 7-6, I'm working.
That's a horrific shift.
Urgh.
Oh well. Once it's over, it's over.
Thought for the day: MUST EAT ALL THE FOOD
