Well here we are, ladies... On to the home straight already, and how quickly it's come...

Take a moment now. Think back to that first "huh... I think I need to do a pregnancy test..."
Remember that test coming up positive? Remember where you were, all the emotion as you waited to see what would come up... The moment that positive showed...

How long ago does that seem now?



We've had some amazing moments in the last few months.

Telling OH the good news,
Getting a booking in appointment sorted out,
Going to the booking in appointment,
Getting the 12w scan date through,
Going to that first scan... Seeing baby for the first time,
Moving into Tri 2,
Telling family and friends,
Hearing the heartbeat,
Feeling flutters, pokes/punches/kicks,
OH feeling movement from outside,
Anomaly scan - finding out all's okay,
Finding out flavour, or, having the strength to resist finding out,
Buying that first baby item,
Discussing nursery options,
Passing V-Day,
Passing DDD,
Moving here, to Tri 3...

So much has happened... What on Earth could be left?

Well, not to panic anyone, or anything, but there's a milestone still to reach...
Now you actually gotta give birth to a teeny human

So, let's get this list updated. Post your due date, post your flavour, and anything else you'd like to have remembered on the front page. Thought of a name? Let me know an I'll add it.

These last three months get freakin scary, talks of labour, pain relief, more concerns...
But it's so fun to count down to babys' arrival... Flavour guesses for the yellows, early/late guesses, weight guesses, and most importantly... Welcoming your beautiful new bundle.

Welcome to scottishlass who's joined us. I hope you enjoy being here as much as we have.
Feel free to let us know a bit about yourself, and ask any questions you may have.
There's a real mix here of first time mums, second time mums... And I think we all agree we're all learning still, no matter how many times we've done it before.

I'm right in the middle of the country, 27 (OMG nearly 28 ), I have a two year old boy with my ex (still get on, kinda, and share custody). My OH is in America, very supportive considering he's 4,000 miles away. He was here for the 20w scan, and will be here for the birth, so doubly looking forward to that.
I was working 50 hours a week as a pub manager, but have just been signed off due to being unable to walk fast/far/for long (similar to pelvic girdle pain), so now bummin at home until I return after maternity leave.

Everyone on here is really friendly and supportive, I hope you find the same


Just a note: if some of you yellow-flavours could churn out a blue, that'd be great. We're looking a little half-and-half for July at the moment with all the confirmed blues being in the later half of the month, lol
