Worst Evening of my life, just back from A&E

Well, some of you may have seen me post earlier saying I was worried as I had got some brown discharge, well after some reassuring words I was feeling better, when I felt "it". That gut renching feeling you get when you know that something heavy has just passed!

So I stayed calm and went to the loo, expecting some more brown discharge, what I wasnt expecting though was bright red blood!

I dont know what i did, but next second DH is in the loo with me and saw and was very close to tears along with me, as i had an almost gush of blood!

Stopped after what felt like a lifetime, but in reality was probably only a few seconds! So called hospital who told me to go A&E.

Got there about 8:30 and just got home now, had more blood tests done, urine tests, blood pressure. And the doc has reassured me its nothing to worry about!! (Honestly not feeling that reassured) she said because i saw the baby yesterday and all was fine it was very unlikely it was a MC, she said its more likely something happened to one the the many layers between the uterus! Blood results came back normal and so shes told me to go home and rest. All seems to have stopped for now but shes said if it comes back heavily after 24 hrs then to go back again!!

Feel pretty helpless right now, but the doc said it didnt sound like a lot of blood to her (it felt like it though) and explained lots of women bleed all the way through!

Guess i really have just got to hope for the best!! I had some really bad stomach pains this morning, but nothing since, so i guess that is a good sign! Doc said if pains went away on there own then it is defo a good sign!!

Well sorry for the long post, but i'm just a bit of a mess right now!! Going to get some sleep and see what tomorrow brings!!

OMG you poor thing. That must have been terrible for you both. However, i'm relieved to hear everthing is ok x

Thank you ladies, feeling a bit better today, still slight bleeding but nothing major!
Taking the day off work and trying my best to relax! Just called through to midwives and EPU and they have reassured me more saying it's probably from the scan an tuesday, but told me to get a referral to them if it doesn't stop in the next few days or gets any heavier!
I guess it's just a waiting game now! Xx
