Will you stay team yellow?

I found out at 16+3 with my son privately
Kept 2nd n 3rd baby team yellow
Everyone told me with my 3rd she was a girl which she is lol so it took the excitement away felt like I knew although we didn't find out
now selfishly would love another boy as long as they are healthy I don't mind which gender though Part of me wants find out I feel impatient but definitely my last baby so I want stay team yellow xxx

We found out as I was desperate to lol. It just meant I could get organised with clothes etc as the neutral range is rubbish. As we knew it was a girl we did her room pink rather than decorate it as a nursery. Now she is 2 we have added transfers to make it into a peppa pig room without having to decorate :)

I totally get why people find out but it's not for me. We didn't find out with our son and we'll be having another surprise - much to my in laws disgust  All my in laws have found out the sex and named the baby so when they're born its just a phone call to say 'John is here' etc. There's no surprise and to me that's the best bit. So we'll be team yellow :D xx

Even though we found out we didn't tell family. No slip ups either.

So, we got best of both worlds I felt I could have that early bond with Jackson and got to surprise the fam, will be doing that next time round.

xxxx

Good for you keeping it a secret. If I thought we could I'd consider finding out but I know I'd be gutted if either of us slipped up! Family badgered us with our son to tell them the sex, even though we didn't know they still asked us constantly if we did. If they done that again when I did know I'd totally cave  haha xx

I didn't keep it secret on here, Ive been here since before we conceived so it felt good to tell the girls on here and really open up about my ideas.

We did get asked a few times, people trying to trip us up. I think alot felt girl toward the end and it was a boy. Next time I am telling people we didn't find out. I tend not to get too pestered probably because Im a sarcy *******, people would expect something cheeky from me

Next time I won't even be telling a due date or any possible names, so definitely more element of surprise next time.

I want to know. I'm 10w and I'm already fed up of thinking about 'it' - I want to know if I'm carrying a she or he. Also looking forward to narrowing down the hunt for names. I don't want to fall too much in love with a particular girl's name and end up having a boy, or viceversa.
