will you find out the gender

I hate the wait.....5 weeks until we can find out! Not sure why I am so bothered As I have no preference! Xx

Yes I need to be organised with already having two boys. We never found out with them but this time it's driving me mental not knowing.

Nope, were 100% team yellow.

OH did want to find out initially but when I went through the advantages of staying team yellow he changed his mind...

I'd be overjoyed either way and have no preference

xxxxxxxxx

We are 100% team yellow too! It's tempting to find out but the excitement is sooo much better! U don't get many surprises in life anymore!

I didn't know with my first (boy), Iwas team yellow
I did know with my second (boy) as we had small house and wanted to plan , work it out logistically.
I didn't know with my third (girl) as diff hosp wouldn't tell us due to rules, then had late size scan, and they told us
Last baby (boy), having done it both ways, I really wanted that team yellow feeling at the birth again, but at the 20 week scan, we both saw the gender easily, so I guess if wanting team yellow and you have seen lots of scans before- be careful you may nottice what your looking at more!

If I was lucky enougth to have one more, I would prob try to stay team yellow again, but preparing is so much easier if you know what your having. room sharing, decorating , carboots, washing /sorting stuff from loft, colours etc. But knowing at 20o weeks, really breaks up the pregnancy into halves and makes it lovly and exciting. You still have the super exciting moment at birth anyway - who wouldn't be...

Oh any as I knew the gender last time, I didn't have a 3d scan, that way I still didn't know what baby looked like.....

I want to know, but OH wants to wait.

We'll have to see who gets their way! :strangle:

Team yellow so if any of our parents get's all controlly they HAVE to get nutral clothes (I hate pink lol and if a girl she can decided herself if wants pink stuff instead of having it all thrust upon her)

Definitely team yellow for us!! It was so magical being told as LO was born, I just love the mystery and for me not knowing just adds to the excitement!

Not going through the pain of labour to not have a surprise lol team yellow all the way :)

I don't think knowing takes away from the magic of the birth I have done it both ways and all my births were so special. I have my 20 week scan next Tuesday and just can't wait to find out who's in there x

Awww no it doesn't take anything away, it's lovely either way x

i agree. i will definately be finding out, although each to their own.

my reason for finding out is to be prepared more than anything else, i hate the idea of my baby being born with all "neutral" clothes.

i will know asap and so will the rest of PF lol!

I'm only 6 weeks pregnant with our first and have always said I didn't want to find out. OH does though, but as I'll be the one doing the hard work, we've agreed to stay team yellow!

I like the excitement at the 20week scan lol, I didn't know with my first and did with my second and found both times equally magical and exciting although must admit I felt I already knew my little man knowing the gender halfway through, bonding was difficult with my second due to complications and prematurity etc so it just for me made it all feel a bit more like MY baby boy, if that makes sense??? I like the idea of breaking up the pregnancy too lol, guess everyone is different but we are finding out :-) I can't wait

Yeah deffinately, going to have another baby bond scan at 16 weeks...

If its a girl then I've still got all of Ellas baby clothes, if its a boy then we need to get shopping

Although we've briefly discussed finding out, I think we'll remain team yellow all the way. My daughter was never dressed in Pink and frills and fancies anyway, and I'll be the same with this one, she never did turn very girly and now won't wear anything unless it's black. I love babies all dressed in white, and would love any son or daughter I have to develop their own sence of style not just be dressed in pink or blue.

The strange thing I can't get out of my head though is, myself and partner are both Scout leaders, and the youngest section, the beavers wear a very bright blue, and I am obsessing with buying/dying baby grows in 'Beaver blue' and knitting little cardi's in it too, and like a craving, I am really starting to obsess with it now lol

Team Yellow... although it will kill us!

We will be finding out again :-) we feel that you still get the suprise just abit early and then you can have all the excitment of buying blue or pink and doing the bedroom and so on and so forth. we want to know if we will be having a second little princess or a little prince.
