had another text i see you know the weight now!! how tiny

will let annie fill you in with more details when she writes her birth plan but lets just say they left her without checking if she was dilated!!! it wasnt until she was being sick coz she was in so much pain that they checked her and she was fully dilated so it was too late for pain relief poor love!!
Ella is now in SCBU for the night coz her breathing was slightly laboured but all in all shes doing great and they think she will be back on the ward with mummy tomz

Hi all, well that was an experience and a half!! Here is my little sweetheart with her daddy

Here was me with absolutely no intention of being brave and every intention of having every form of pain relief allowed to me and ended up with nothing!! Will write a full birth story when I'm home although there's not much more to tell than what louise and I have said- 10 hours exactly from waters breaking to birth!

All I can say is thank goodness it's all over and I have my little girl now

Hi all,

I'm still in hospital and baby Ella is still in scbu- not because there is anything wrong with her but purely because she was born at 36+2 and was measuring small anyway. She is on a 5 day course of antibiotics and they carry out 6 hourly checks to ensure she isn't developing jaundice-indications show she's not

So from what I gather she should be able to come home early next week- can't wait- she is utterly adorable and I can't wait to suggle at home with her and DH.
