Hi ladies not been on for a while. Been ttc for 16 months. Have pcos and hypothyroidism. I'm currently 2dpo. I'm not feeling too bad this month if it doesn't happen as I'm getting referred to fertility clinic as I had a month of constant bleeding. Hoping to be prescribed chlomid. Hope all you ladies are ok.xxx

My next consultant app is at the end of Jan and I was told I would get my hsg results then. Seems a long time to wait so I'm going through their legal dept to get copies of all our tests so far now. Then I've also got copies of everything I need if we have to go private.

I'm back to cd1 today. Going to try another soy cycle as this one took me to 37 days. This is also my first non induced cycle since my mc.

Hope you get your clomid Lulabell, a whole month of bleeding must have been tiring xx

snowbee, that's a good idea to get all the copies as you go along ready for if you go private. I did that but forgot about one lot of tests and had to wait almost a month to get those through before I could make the next private consultation. Saves on fees in long run too if you have all the paperwork needed in one go xx

Hey fellow sailors, hope all okay

Having a chilled Saturday, had a pedicure earlier, now the owner of some very bright shiny pink toes lol! just watching Doctor who (yep closet fan here lol!!) 9dpo today, no real signs, boobs are a tad sore....esp when poked which i seem to do a lot tired and a bit headachy but these are all af symptoms so dont really look into them too much.

Snap !! Staces I'm the same ( but I missed dr.who darn! ) also had a few niggles low down but prob nothing iv also had niggles in my foot and I'm sure I can't get pregnant there !

Hello ladies,
Just catching up as I've been away for a few days. Snowbee- your hospital sounds like a nightmare! I'd write a letter of complaint to the chief executive- I did that, detailing everything that was wrong about my care. They have to respond - you'll get an acknowledgement letter within 3 weeks that will then tell you the name of the person investigating and a date you will hear back from them. The nhs are too nervous about being sued to not deal with complaints quickly.
In other news, I'd like to go back to Oz, to Canada, Dubrovnik, New Zealand... this boat is a luxury cruise liner isn't it?!
Af is due Monday, I'll be surprised if it doesn't arrive. Actually threw caution to the wind in the tww - was away with a friend for a few nights and shared a bottle of wine every evening. Yes, I'll stop caffeine and yes I'll take my tablets like a good girl, but life is not going to stop otherwise - which means no more macds, a diet and exercise plan and a mission to lose a stone!

Hey hopeful, I will set course for one of those destinations right away! I've been terrible in the tww as well, been drinking tea and fizzy drinks, had a few vodkas the night i bd as well

Finally in double figures!! Weirdly not been tempted to test.....yet, not sure how long that will last.

Its so hard to do all the right things during the 2WW and when ttc, no caffeine, no trans fats, no alcohol, no hot baths, no fizzy drinks....blah blah blah!! Drives me mad, there are people who take drugs and drink loads that have their babies and theres us, we do all we can and it doesn't happen!!! (can you tell this annoys me?!).
I got my positive today on CD11. I have had a couple of cycles of ovulating earlier. So ov will be CD12. Used to be CD14, then 13 for a long while and now 12! I am concerned this is problem? I do know this is part of declining fertility but it scares me. I have noticed its been since I have used agnus castus so I am going to stop that next cycle and see what happens. My acupuncturist says its best to ovulate as close to CD14 as possible but it seems to vary so much with people that surely having it a couple or days early or late doesn't cause too many issues....just another thing to worry about!! xx

Hello ladies! I came across this thread and it said long term ttcers so I thought this would be the best place for some advice as you'd know far more than I do and I have only been TTC for 2 months and it's still new to me but maybe one of you could help me? Here's the situation.*

Forgive me if I sound a little stupid but i had sex August 5th, 6th and 7th, Positive OPK all 3 days, First two being the strongest reading, 21st was my expected AF which I had cramping the day before and on the day of with what I thought was a period that lasted less than 12 hours, Strange for me being on a regular cycle. 23rd turned to very watery brown spotting which has pretty much stopped now but was only there when I wipe, Got a negative HPT yesterday but heard some women not getting a positive for at least a week after expected AF. Not sure if I should be having symptoms yet but for the last week or so I have been getting random cramps, Nauseous but not physically been sick, Itchy nipples which have slightly swollen with more bumps than usual. Iv had for about a week now. Also tiredness which could be due to earlier hours at work maybe? Oh and I got a little emotional earlier watching an X factor audition which is not normal for me. Sorry for the long post just trying to include all information. I'd spoken to someone earlier who had said to test 17 days after intercourse which would be the coming Monday or Tuesday.. But I'd really appreciate and feedback from anyone who either knows the possibilities or is going through a similar situation.. Good luck to everyone else on the TTC train.. xx

Well ladies... My tww of abandonment bit me on my bum today - I got a bfp this morning! I'm completely shocked - oh's immediate response was 'how did that happen?'!
Feel sick- but purely with nerves. Given my history, that's not surprising I suppose. Hope it doesn't offend anyone, but if you don't mind I'll just take a seat in a lifeboat and wait a few weeks (possibly 8months?) before you lower me down.
Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies- I'm praying like mad you'll all join me and this bean sticks.

Oh I am so pleased for you I am sure everyone will be happy for you to take a seat in the lifeboat. You can be our lookout for the witch and throw stones at here if she comes close to the boat. I am so happy one of us on this horrible boat is on their way off of it xx

Hey Hopeful75 this is the bestest news, yippee I have everything crossed that this is your time, have you a plan of action from here on in what had your consultant recommended? I am sending you so much strong sticky baby bean dust may you get off this boat and never look back (other than to keep in touch) sending lots of prayers and congrats to you, you deserve a happy ending xxx

Thanks ladies. Still in shock!
I'm on high dose folic acid, plus aspirin, plus the TABLET trial drug.
I'm going to wait until the end of the week and then phone the hospital - fortnightly scans from week 6 onwards. Just 2 weeks to wait in terror then!
I so, so, so hope you'll be joining me and we can watch from the shore as this boat goes up in flames!

Morning ladies

How are you feeling today Hopeful, any symptoms? how many dpo wer you when you tested?

Horrible day today so my boobs have been quite tender yesterday and today, also had mild nausea all afternoon and evening.....I dont get excited by this though as I have this EVERY month! I keep a note of my symptoms by day and when i looked at dpo11 for last month they were exactly the same.
I almost tested this morning, even peed in my usual cup/lid lol then threw it out at the last minute, didn't want to start my day with a bfn.....and walking to work i happened to glance at a parked car and noticed the reg plate was bfn....I hope thats not a sign

Stace, with my last bfp, the signs were exactly the same to every other month too. Didn't for one second think I was pregnant. You just never know xx

Lol staces seeing the reg plate would have really peed me right off 2 ! Really didn't need 2 c that !
We c all these ladies getting early + and loads of symptoms and I think we expect 2 feel different but from what I remember (12 years ago ) I didn't really feel different till about 6/7 weeks but granted a wasn't how I am now always thinking about my boooobs and my bits !
Even tho I got a bfn yesterday there's still a small part of me saying there's a chance I could b , which is not like me cus normally at 12 dpo I know the witch is on her way , but think she might sneek up on me this cycle
