Ttc shit boat - long term ttcers

Hey ladies , well I thought I'd start a thread 4 us ladies that have been ttc over a year , I place where we can feel bitter and twisted ! I know a lot of us r having tests done or r even thinking about ivf /iui road so thought it would b good 2 share advice and experiences with each other , hopefully we can get of this shit boat soon cus I 4 1 have had it !
So far I've had 21 day bloods - normal
Hubby's had SA done - normal
Just waiting 2 get in with my doc on thurs 2 arrange hsg
Also going 2 ask 4 21 bloods 2 b redone and 3 day bloods

I feel you´re trying to get me to rant!!!!

I have been ttc for 16 months... am on my first round of clomid 50mg. Went for ultrasound, also did progesterone draw (which here in sweden they send by snail mail so I have no idea about it yet). I am currently on 15 DPO, had a dip on temperature yesterday which went back up today with a bfn on 13 DPO. I have no idea what to do and I am pissed and annoyed for some reason!

So the plan is that I will also get HSG but the waiting list here is completely stupid and I can only enter it when I get AF and AF apparently doesn´t want to come even though I am not pregnant?

Also did a bunch of bloods and got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and am taking pills for that now along with 2 more cycles of clomid...and then maybe directly to the IVF waiting list.

Ttc 3 years, 3 early losses,
Sperm issues (been resolved now though)
Endometriosis
High FSH (I sound like a ttc disaster)

Had day 21 bloods, first bloods normal, recent ones a little low
HSG normal
Scan with antral follicle count normal

Waiting to make an appointment with the consultant to get the results of repeat FSH and AMH results. Possibility of needing fertility treatment. Currently having acupuncture to see if it can help.

I was feeling like a right misery yesterday. In the time I have been trying my friend has had a baby and is now pregnant again and everyone else seems to get pregnant so quickly and easily, I know this is not the case but it just gets annoying sometimes.

I hope we all get to jump ship soon onto the baby train xx

yes baby train lisey !! Is the scan u had different from hsg and was that done on nhs? And is that when they check what ur eggs r like ?
I know what u mean I have seen people get pregnant have a baby and now pregger again with 2nd grrrrrrr

Andreax2, don´t, it´s no use ! Ahah I really think I am out! I had a bunch of symptoms before and today they are all gone. I have NO IDEA what the heck is going on.

Another thing, on our first infertility appointment my husband´s sperm analysis was super bad apparently so the doctor did not even mention IUI and just said I needed an HSG before just going straight to IVF. However we begged her to just let us repeat the analysis and he did the next morning. The values were much better!! I have no idea what to think anymore. Feels like we don´t really have a plan. Is this even normal two have two very different SA in two consecutive days?

Lisey, I am so sorry for your losses... I really hope you can get all fixed so you can have a healthy and successful pregnancy soon!

I'm not very good with the whole SA thing , but that's why I wanted 2 start this thread cus we all have loads of Qs hopefully some1 can answer ! That fact that his 2nd results r better has 2 b a good thing ! I would say they prob need doing again just 2 clarify the results x

I actually called the doctor and kinda asked about it and all she said was: "No point repeating, he has enough for IVF."
That´s not exactly what I wanted to hear, I wanted to avoid that at all cost...

What questions are bothering you then? Not that I am any specialist but it really feels like the longer one is ttc the more we become little doctors. :/

I thought I'd share my story with you ladies as I completely know how you feel and it is heart breaking. It took us 2 1/2 years to conceive and all our tests were clear but the last 8 months before finally falling pregnant my GP discovered I had an under active thyroid. I had been tested for this before however and they said that my levels were normal and classified us as 'subfertile' - lovely being put into a bracket like that isn't it!

Since they have got my medication under control, with my hormones coming into balance, I finally caught naturally in March and we were about to start IVF.

Please don't give up hope and keep at it! Good luck to you all xxx

I should also add that I was convinced that this was why it wasn't working and medical professionals told me that it wouldn't be connected. I argued this and didn't really get anywhere. I was actaully ovulating with day 21 bloods so they were not interested in that being the problem but I suspect that it was the hormone levels not being sufficent to maintain a pregnancy.

I have very long cycles and do not ovulate

Had lost over 3st in a year and last cycle was back down to 35days so almost regular again so FX it does so i can have 21day bloods done again
Cd4 bloods showed no pcos or any other issue

4lb left to loose to be on target and to be rereferred to fertility clinic

I never thought I'd be joining a long term ttc thread but here I am. Been trying 19 months and had 3 tri 1 losses. Have had loads of tests done and I have a blood clotting disorder called anti thrombin 3 deficiency so now have to take aspirin and high dose folic acid every day. Hoping to have a wee baby soon. Good luck ladies, ttc can be soul destroying but at least we're not alone!! Xxx

Well hello everyone 17 months for me and i just would like one cycle where i actually ovulate to have the slightest chance first time ttc it took 18 months and a mc but hey fingers crossed for this cycle took soy cd 2-6 hoping it will help x

Aww hun so happy 4 u and thanks 4 sharing it really does give me hope iv been tycoon 2 years 7 months and 2 hear ur story makes me feel its still possible ! X

Iv not really got any Qs at the mo apart from why r doctors such idiots !

I'd say we are looking at maybe December or January... Not too bad considering other cases I suppose! But it all depends, these waiting lists are so unreliable.
