Little confused to be honest trying for my 1st, I came off the depo in december 10 and got my period back in April, its a 30 day cycle. But I am new to all the cycle monitoring etc!

we started ttc in April 2010 after mc at 10weeks in March but have been pregnant three times since then & suffered mc, 6 weeks, 4 weeks & 4 weeks so not sure what cycle that puts us on, can anyone tell me? x x

I'd personally count it as your April period being the start of cycle 1, have you had another one since then?

It's up to you hon, some people like to start again after a mc, some people keep counting. It's your choice where you consider yourself to be

Hi there, I am new to this forum and wanting a little help! Me and my husband are TTC baby number two (iur darling daughter being 4 in JUly) and I am trying to work out all of the lingo on this forum. My first pregancny was unplanned so never had to think about ovulation etc! All help will be greatly appreciated!
I had AF in the week preceding 10.5.11 and then went on hols abroad for two weeks and AF raised her ugly head whilst I was away about 18/19 or 20th May 2011). AF was particularly weak this month and came too soon!normally Af comes around every 26 days or so. Have taken PT x 2 but both negative. sad! Can you help me with when I should expect to ovulate this month and latter part of May? What bit is the two week wait etc?? AHhhh so much to think about! Thank you all so much and happy trying xxxx

how light? some people have a little bleed when the egg implants in the uterus. although your bleed would seem to be a little early for that...

A quick summary:
Your cycle starts on cd (cycle day) 1 - the first day of full bleed.
Approximately two weeks later (it varies by person) you will ovulate. You can see various signs of this - your cervical mucus (CM) will become stretchy and thin - just like egg white (EWCM). Ovulation tests can be used as well, as can cervical position (you'll have to ask someone else about that)
About a week later the egg (if fertilised) will implant. There may be a small bleed although this is relatively rare. Some people start to feel pregnancy symptoms from this point on.
At the end of your fourth week, your period either will or won't come. I hope it's the latter.

But, cycles can go crazy for no apparent reason, you may be having one of those

Light as in for two days and not as heavy as usual!!!!!!! normally im a 5 day girl and quite heavy! Confusing!!! Im usually 26 days bang on! not had any change to this since I was about 19 and now aged 27! xx

Hi all,

I've been a regular on PF for around 18 months now. Fell pregnant on my first cycle with dd and shared my ttc, bfp, pregnancy, birth story and journey as a first time mummy with everyone on PF. My LO is now nearly 9 months and DH and I are trying again now as we are hoping for around an 18-24 month age gap.

This is my first cycle and dh and I plan to bd from cd10-20 daily as we did last time and hope for a bfp! Xx
