To find out or not to find out??

Got my scan in 9 days and am really undecided whether to find out bubbas sex or not...i've always stayed team yellow wiv my other babies but I really dunno wot to do this time. I wanna find out cos I really think it's a girl and havin 3 Boys already I don't want to get my hopes up just for it to b a boy,il love it the same either way but got such a strong pink feeling that I can't help but get excited. My dh doesn't wanna find out but has basically said that it's upto me. Aaaaaagh,im kinda hopin baby has it's legs crossed so I can't find out lol,even thought about findin out but not tellin ppl xxx

I would say go for and find out, that way if it a girl you can start getting some pink things in

I'm sooo glad that I found out, I can now eye up lots of little dresses And all the reletives know what colour things to buy, hehe!

Thanks ev1,I'm still undecided but don't wanna b like a kid at Xmas...peakin b4 the day then not havin anythin 2 look forward to lol. But then I don't wanna b the kid that's wants a bike but gets a dollshouse iykwim...grrr,I know that if I find out and it's a girl il wish I'd have waited but if it's a boy il b glad I found out...god I can't win xx

I found out just cause im impatient! But it made it more real for me... Like its not just a bump but a little girl with a real identity...

Guess its different being my first but i'd say go for it, find out, you'll have a beautiful baby to look forward to whether you know the sex or not, so do it!!!

Well I hadn't intended to find out , but baby couldn't keep his legs shut on the scan it seemed!

I'm not disapointed as he is a he , as I felt he was, and as I would have prefered if I had the choice, but I know exactly what you mean Emma.

When pregnant with my daughter , they told me she was a girl on the scan, (with a girl you can miss something can't you) so I didnn't believe them and convinced myself over the next 20 weeks that she was a he just incase, I wanted a girl as I had two boys already and would hate myself if I had any glimmer of disapointment if it turned out she was actually a boy on the day of birth. So it worked , she was a girl, and I was over the moon, but the slight downside to my plan, was that I was too geared up for my little boy called Devon, that I didn't feel finished. So I am over the moon now to be finally having my missing boy Devon, and hope that I then feel totally finished with having babies as OH has said this is my last! So finding out can have its bonus's after all

I was like you hun. I have 2 boys already and kinda had a feeling that this might be a girl as i felt different to my other 2. I thought i would LOVE to not find out the sex and get told when i give birth that i have a little girl but then i thought well if it's a little boy i'd be glad to find out as it would prepare me mentally. To be honest, i'm glad i found out as as much i love this little boy inside me soooo much i did have a day of being a bit gutted when i found out (feel so guilty for saying that) as this is my last. I would have rather that than be a bit dissapointed i didn't find out when he was born as i didn't think it was fair on him. BUT I'm over it now and just looking forward to my 3rd boy! Some things are just meant to be.

Hmm that is hard. I know if I had 3 boys I would wanna find out if I was finally going to have a girl or another boy. However I would find it really hard to keep it quite and not buy colour coded things! I am lucky that Hubby and I have both decided that we don't want to know and keep it a suprise.

Were staying team yellow too but also hope its not blatently obvious when I have my second scan so Im praying I wont be able to see!

However the curious side of me obviously is wondering if we have a son or daughter in here!!

I'm exactly where you are ... scan is tomorrow don't know whether to ask or not. I did ask last time but was disappointed by a very vague maybe!!

I've just replied to ur post lol...I'm still undecided. My dh has said that if I find out then he doesn't want to know and all colour related clothes/items r banned from the house....but part of the reason I want to know is so I can prepare my youngest son as he doesn't adjust to change v well and there's no way a 3 year old will keep it a secret lol xx

Lol Emmab, my hubby has just changed his mind and now wants to know!!! Grrr, I had decided to stay yellow but now the temptation to ask is creeping in.

Scan at 3.15 today and still undecided lol
