Yay for a holiday! So good it falls on ur fertile time, I caught back in April by not really ttc with opk's and a very relaxed approach. Only doing opk's this time round to make sure I'm normal again. Xx

Hi ladies hope everyones is doing ok with SMEP!
Sorry to the ladies who have already had a visit from the witch!

I am waiting to test. I am due AF any day now really following from last month, i have ran out of pregnancy tests but did one on monday and got the faintest line on an IC, good thing was hubby could see and he said it was pink. I took a photo but not worth posting as it was soooo faint.

Anyway i'll be testing Friday if AF hasnt arrived although i have a horrible feeling she is on her way!

Think it's fair to say that first month SMEPing = fail!!
We've only bd once on CD8 and it's now CD14. Been bloody busy and DH tired. I will be trying my hardest to get him tonight!!
So SMEP out of the window, trying to catch an egg still on though, will bonk like mad til ov or else!!

Hi ladies, well after my very faint line on Mondy on an IC i got my today!

It was our first month of trying and we used SMEP as we thought it would suit us best. I never really changed anything but did do the bicycle legs in the air after each time DTD.

We started DTD very early on every other day but as soon as i got the faint line we tried to bed every day although that was difficult with OH working nights.
After each bed i did keep my hips elevated for at least 10-15 mimnutes (we would start with a pillow already under my hips so i didnt have to move too much afterwards) but around OV i put my legs in the air and pretended to ride a bike, had heard that helps??

I didnt really change anything except eat the best diet i could, plenty of fruit and veg in the house.

wee update for me, cycle day 13, almost positive opks today and yesterday, getting a bit more cm now so ovulation is just around the corner, THIS WILL BE MY MONTH!!! Its so good to read successfull SMEP stories, we just gotta stick in there!!! how is everyone else getting on??

Cd14, still awaiting ov but only stopped bleeding on cd12 so ov is probably delayed by a few days. AF is usually 7 days so thinking ov maybe 5 days late, if cycle is normal. So got my fx for next week sometime! Scared and excited for my first proper ttc cycle and 2ww! xx

Fx for you Kanga. I'm very excited about hols, off tomorrow to Miami and then road trip through the deep south. I'm leaving behind ov sticks and all my ttc worries!

We will be away 2 weeks Last 3.5hrs of work to go....

Yes planning to forget ttc for once and just enjoy some good ole holidays instead.

We are hiring a corvette to tear up in around Florida and Louisiana and maybe Texas if we get that far! Haven't booked anything except the car and first hotel, after that we make it up as we go along and only commitment is to make the flight home!!!
