@GG it's up at Alnwick Ford in Northumberland....our most local one really so not too far to travel.

He certainly helps....it gives me down time away from work but also as much as I love hubby, sometimes I just need that space to zone out and just be me....not me trying to be a mum x

My opk line is darkening but I have to leave at 7 in the morning for the airport so we’ll DTD again tonight and then I’ll just have to hope I ovulate early tomorrow!

Good luck! When I got my BFP last month we only DTD twice the whole month (thanks to the World Cup and hot weather combo! Haha) once on CD10 and then again on CD27 but still got pregnant so it just shows... even if you don’t ovulate early tomorrow so long as you DTD those little swimmers will still be in there ready to work their magic. Fx for you x

I feel like having an ovulation party!

I am FINALLY 3dpo at CD29 after my MC last month! My temps have stayed elevated and FF has detected (it thinks and I bl**dy hope so!) ovulation on a Thursday . On Thursday I woke up ridiculously tired after a full and uninterupted nights sleep. So much so I told my OH i couldn’t wait to get home from work for a nap haha. I was also super hungry (more than usual!) so I’m hoping these signs correlate with ovulation. The only thing is my OPK was negative all week but maybe I didn’t test at the right time when my levels were high. Tbh I don’t care because I’m officially in the TWW!!

Hoping to hold out to test on 6th September now, the day before our wedding anniversary and the day we go away for a 2 day anniversary break. What a lovely present it would be to us if we were pregnant

Please can you put me down for the 6th for testing?

I’m anticipating a positive opk today too and almost always ovulate the next day according to temps. If you can grab OH either tonight or tomorrow I think you’ll be as covered as you can be Vespa. Then it’s up to your body, the universe, the stars aligning, if your eggs a good’un, if the swimmers have a sense of direction, if your CM is being cooperative etc etc.

Temp today is 97.29 (back to typical pre-ov now I’m back at sea level).

How funny, I have a strong feeling this is going to be the same situation for me in 2 weeks time when I go to Ireland for a work trip on the Friday at silly am to the Sunday afternoon. Going by my last cycle, my positive OPK could be on the Friday/Saturday, will BD on the Thursday night and when I get back on Sunday. Annoyingly I won't be able to do OPKs while I'm away because I'll be surrounded by work colleagues the whole time. X

You can do them in the loo Emma. No work colleagues there (unless you work with a really odd bunch). You can use the little foil packet the cheapie ones come in to catch the pee (after discarding the silica gel packet), dip your stick, dry out the packet with tissue and pop the opk stick back in. Put it in a secret pocket in your handbag then sneak a peek whenever the urge takes you through the day..........can you tell I’ve done this before?

It would be typical wouldn’t it! Fingers crossed you ovulate a little earlier rather than a little late like me!

Annoyingly AF arrived 2 days early this cycle, if it hadn't the positive OPK could have been on the day I got back rather than the day I go! It's out of my hands, frustrating as it's the worst possible timing! X

Great OPK vintageling.

Ladies, my AF only started yesterday but is so heavy compared to normal, are periods heavier if conception occurred but egg didn't implant? X

Logically thinking I wouldn’t say it would make it heavier as there wouldn’t be significantly more ‘stuff’ to come out. Fertilised egg pre implantation would still only be poppyseed size if that. Hormones wouldn’t have changed till implanted either. I think periods just vary sometimes.
