Thanks GG! How are you getting on? Aww I really can’t wait.... I have a tiny bump that me and my OH can see but no one else can, can’t wait for it to be more obvious and to feel little movements! So exciting!!

Doing great thanks. Have an anterior placenta so only recently started feeling more than flutters but last couple of days, Dan has been able to feel baby kick as well. Have a second anomaly scan tomorrow as baby didn't cooperate for the first. I've had so many scans it's unreal, lol. Been wonderful though.

Hope you all have a wonderful time in tri 2. If you're still tired and nauseous, don't worry...you'll be full of energy soon enough. Xx

Aww that’s great!! I had an early scan at 8 weeks so I count myself lucky that we had that one too!! Can’t wait for our 20 week scan to find out its sex! Good luck tomorrow!!

Thanks sweet, I’ve been feeling much better the last couple of weeks, just very tired and a bit moody!! 😬 xx

Hi everyone! I hope all is going well :). I think I'm officially tri 2 today? Nausea is fading and energy levels are on the rise, albeit very slowly. Monday I've got my next scan for NT so hopefully everything goes okay!

Eeeek can’t wait to join you all over here soon! I’m waiting until I finally get my nhs scan to confirm dates before I hop over. Fingers crossed it won’t be too much longer! Xxx

Can I change my date to the 4th please. A few days further along than we thought.
So excited to finally be in tri 2, hasn’t been the easiest pregnancy, with being back under consultant care and also on anti sickness tablets due to the Hyperamesis, but it seems to be going so fast. Officially 15 weeks on Tuesday and almost half way through, doesn’t seem too long ago that I got my BFP!
How are all you ladies? X

Hey ladies! It’s good to see everyone slowly joining Tri 2!! It’s so exciting!

I’m ok thanks sweet, feeling much better now and managing to eat proper meals too however I’m still loosing weight some how but the midwife didn’t seem too worried when I saw her on Thirsday! We also heard our little monkeys heart beating which was incredible!! I’m still quite tired and still can’t face the foods I went off a while back but hopefully it won’t be long until I can enjoy them again!

Hope you’re all ok xx

Hi all, I'm officially tri 2 today woo! My new due date is actually the 10th sept according to my scan.
Apart from having an annoying cold I'm feeling much better, how's everyone else?

Welcome to the second trimester, glad you are feeling better! :)

My ligament pains have unfortunately gotten worse, some things just hurt far too much to be worth doing, but apart from mentioning it to the midwife at the check-up, not sure you can do a lot but just deal with it. Just focus on the end goal. :D

Hope everyone else is having a good start to the week! x

Not my month I know but I get too interested, lol. Just so you know, there are a few things you can do to help with the round ligament pains. I have found mine, which I've been having, annoyingly since week 16, are worst when I turn in bed and when I have to cough or sneeze.
So, what I have found with coughing and sneezing is that bending my upper body forward stops the pain from happening in the first place so long as it's not a total surprise sneeze or cough, but even if they are, if I bend forward as soon as I can, it still really helps.

So, I tried it in bed. If I need to turn in bed, which I do regularly through the night from my left side to the right and back again, I just pull my head and shoulders up off the bed whilst I do the turn. Another thing in bed that I've suffered with is stretching my legs. If I have a stretch, it gives me calf cramps AND round ligament pain, so now, I stretch, bend my middle and pull my tors up towards me and this lets me stretch without any cramping or setting off the round ligaments.

Doing the sight sitting up thing to move in bed doesn't affect my ability to fall back to sleep at all. The baby kicking seven shades of shit out of me does though, you've got that to look forward to, lol.

Just thought I'd share xx

That is exactly what I have been experiencing! First noticed it in the morning when I would stretch in bed after waking up and it's just been getting worse since. Will definitely try those methods though, thank you ever so much, you might just be my favorite person ever if those work! :) She says at 16 weeks, knowing there's another 24 weeks left haha.

I got my scan today and they put me back 4 days so 11 + 3 which makes me due October 1st. I've joined the October thread but will continue keeping in touch with everyone here if y'all don't mind as I will probably have bubba in September if it's anything like my first pregnancy :)
Scan was amazing, baby kept moving and they even did a 4D scan. I will share photos once I'm connected to wifi :)
