Ah Vee that's rubbish isn't it! But yes, better that he gets it out the way now ha!

Ooh Sarah not long at all is it, then I'll be right behind you :) x

Happy 18 weeks ladies - 17 weeks today for me :)

Cannot wait to start feeling movements, found out yesterday that placenta is posterior.

Morning Everyone!

Happy Easter - I have a large, chunky white chocolate Thorntons egg chilling in the Fridge!! I've not had an Easter Egg in at least 2 years because I was slimming to get into my wedding dress. Now, our first Easter married I made sure I deffo had one!! haha

We have our 20 week scan on Friday, when i'll be nearer 22 weeks to be fair. Hoping they'll confirm that baby is a ickle boy and that the scan picture may give the game away - we still haven't told anyone, but if my mum makes me look at baby girl clothes once more I think I may crack haha. I did genuinely want a girl and my mum knows this so I think she's just humouring me. But, nature has decided that we're to have the 4th lad in a row for our family so be it! That said, it's making name choices very difficult, we've had 3 nephews in 2 years so that's 6 boys names gone. We've been trialling: Sidney, Harry and Issac (Zak) in the house lol.

This is going to make me sound like a complete cowbag but, the reason I wanted a girl was so that my hubby's family don't give me all their boy hand me downs. My mother in law can be a complete pain in one's rear end, she'll probably compare our child to my husband's sisters son, they struggle money wise so have had everything literally bought for them and a lot of it is 3rd/4th hand. My Husband and I have saved for the last year in preparation for this baby, so we have money to cover maternity leave and so that we can buy new items - not massively expensive ones - but new ones. His mum has already bought a heap of "gender neutral" clothes from carboots etc. In a years time I probably won't mind 2nd or 3rd/4th hand, but at the moment, I just want everything new and fresh for our ickle boy. That makes me sound ungrateful doesn't it? Obviously, I accept the stuff Mother in law gives us, but I don't really have any intention of using it.......

Hubbie is playing golf, even though it's raining badly. So I'm having a relaxing morning before a trip to the in laws for tea!!

I'm still not feeling much by way of movements either. Felt a proper kick from both on Friday so thought that would be the start of feeling them more but not felt very much since. I know I'll regret saying this but I hope I feel them more soon xx

thankyou clare.
happy 17 weeks kathy!

happy easter alipops, sure you will enjoy your egg even more then!
not ungrateful at all - just don't use it .

hopefully won't be too long for you londongirl xxxxxx

Happy Easter everyone!
I woke up in the night and got up and started looking round the bed, as I'd just dreamt baby was here and we were asleep and we'd pushed it off the bed :O
Suddenly I realised if I had a baby it would be crying if that happened haha. Oh dear!! Lets hope I dont get too many more of those!
Hope you're all having a lovely sunday xx

Happy Easter ladies! No breakfast in bed for me, but a lie in til 9am which was AMAZING! Dd is v clingy at the moment, and won't get up with hubby in the morning, just cries for me :-( But this morning he made an effort to get up with her and play etc so that I could sleep.

Vee I wss feeling the same sort of heavy/full bladder feeling the past week or so, and remember it from dd too. I spoke to midwife before and as my ursine was clear she said it was the way bubs was lying. I'm not saying 100% that is the same for you but try not to worry about seeing a doc til tues - it's likely to be bubs if you haven't got any other symptoms.

Clare good luck with the decorating!

londongirl how lovely that you're starting to feel kicks!

nds I'm the same this time - was def feeling dd more than I'm feeling this baby, so I'm thinking anterior placenta too. Unless I'm team blue too and boys are just lazier...?!

Happy Easter all!
Happy 18 weeks Nic & Soph! Happy 17 weeks Kathy!

OH was out drinking for his brother's stag do last night - came in early hours in a bit of a state and isn't feeling the best this morning! Definitely don't miss hangovers lol!
Off to my Mum's later for a family Easter lunch, some Easter eggs will be eaten too no doubt! Have a good day all xx

thankyou becky.

crackers, maybe?! he was lazy at my twelve week scan. a little bit more wriggly at sixteen weeks. i had a nice long lie in and i put my hand there and i felt a couple of things, but i think it was just my pulse or something haha. i'm so doubtful especially after being told placenta is anterior!

i'm feeling really tired today and i dont know why.
just got up and been to post box to post some things i sold on ebay but now i've come and led back on my bed lol :X so lazy.

speaking of ebay - hope this isnt against forum rules - if any pink mummies want anything, i have a few things that aren't really worth selling or that i thought wouldn't sell - 90% are brand new sadly never worn, don't want any money or anything, i can post some pics if anyones interested.

my nursery feels very plain :( all the furniture is wooden in there, and its decorated now but still feels very boring.. i really wanted a changing table but i guess they're pretty pointless aren't they? i also wanted a chair but as i'm not BF'ing is there any point in that.. just doesn't feel personalised yet despite the painting.. hopefully once i get a new changing mat and teddies and a lampshade and blind etc it will feel much nicer :) xxxx
edit: getting a chair for my birthday at the end of may, yay!

Does anyone fancy talking potential names for their Bundle? If I try to talk to OH anymore about names I think he'll burst!! haha.

So, what have you ruled out and why? What names are you contemplating and Why?
