** September 2014 Mummies! **

ohhhh I love some of the name suggestions! As you all know, we are secretly Team Blue. But, we've had 3 nephews born in the last 2 years, and I have an older nephew so between them gone are the following: Oliver, Edward, Michael, Sam, Alex, Jack, Austin.

OH and I are both teachers which creates added dislike to names due to students we know. I work with teenagers with behavioural problems so not keen on most of their names for one reason or another lol. Anyhow, that aside the options are:

1. Sidney Maurice (OH's Grandad and mine, Sid for short, which we're fine with).
2. Zachary Arthur (Zak for short, which we're fine with).
3. Louis Owen (Louis as in Louie, I'm concerned people will either pronounce it or spell it wrong, which would be highly annoying as I'm an English Teacher!)
4. Noah (OH likes it but I think it's a bit popular and will be more so after the new film that's out)

Now, we loved the following girls names if it helps anyone else:

1. Arabella Mae
2. Maisie
3. Polly
4. Evie
5. Elsie
6. Annie.

All thoughts are welcomed!! xx

haha really? ssp certainly does suck! a big mix yes! hope you're feeling alright this morning.

zachary is lovely, and i love noah too! i know what you mean regarding names though, i'm sure being a teacher of that sort puts you off a good few names!

we've had a couple of tiny taps this morning, yay.. xxx

Morning Ladies! Belated Happy Easter! But Happy Bank Holiday! Hope everyone enjoyed yesterday and ate far too much chocolate, I know I did! Lol.
Still havnt really caught up on everything, but hope everyone's doing good. Not planning in doing much today after being totally exhausted from yesterday. I wouldn't have been as wiped out, but my childrens dad decided to tell me he was taking them to an Easter party today and there is an egg competition, so they all need to make one. This was at 4pm when we'd just got home, so we were all on until 8:30 making them. Why he didn't tell me beforehand is beyond me. Men. Obviously the kids loved it, but when all 3 of them are shouting mam mam mam help me with this that and everything, it can be exhausting lol. They're all done now anyway and looking great.

We do have a couple of names picked out too...but I'm not thinking too much about it until I know what team we're on, cos I'm just wasting half my time anyway lol.
I love Alice, Eva and Charlotte, and Adam or Alex for a boy. I do find it hard to name boys though. I'm not saying much about names to ppl as I think a lot of ppl have opinions they shouldn't when it's your baby. I'd rather keep my mouth shut than get mad haha. Xx

Yey! Good luck Sarah! Exciting seeing your little man again! :) :) xx

Thanks ladies...I'm so excited already lol. He's been nudging me in the sides whilst sleeping so that's that started now lol xx

Good luck with the scan tomorrow Sarah I have my re scan tomorrow too around lunch time I think :) hope he behaves this time lol xxx

Wow that's a good spending spree you had Nic :) Some gorgeous stuff! I can't get excited buying stuff yet cos we have so much already, plus money is so tight at the mo. Can't wait to go nuts :) xx

I really need a break I'm going stir crazy. We can't afford to go to a hotel right now as very last minute and bought so much baby stuff as he might be coming so early. Question is if we borrowed oh parents camping gear would that be ok. I would have to help put it up as it's a big tent but he would take the weight but once it's done it's just chilling out and walks in the country. Or is sleeping on a mattress on the floor a no no. I'm just so bored and need a change of scenery and oh is on leave for a week xxx

I'm sure you should be ok camping Lilmiss-have you not got an airbed? I hope it's ok anyway as we have a big family camping holiday booked in July with all my family! x

thankyou lilmiss. haha it is very cute  i love the anchor too, it was just for desk decoration, just making it a bit more personal like.

good luck with the scans tomorrow girls - wish mine would hurry up!

i know kanga, must admit i gasped at the total when i saw . money is v tight for us too especially with having to fork out for our girls headstone, pricey :(. and now we want to go away so we definitely need to save, we just needed more bits as literally everything i already had was pink or girly in some way..

lilmiss, yeah i think you would be fine camping! could you get an airbed? that would be much comfier for you! xxxxxx

Been ravaged by stretch marks this week! Bloody awful!.. Anyone else?!

Hi all! Good name chat....it's a minefield eh?! Our daughter is Joy Victoria, and if this one is a girl she will be Violet May.

HOWEVER...boys are a different story! I quite like Edward, Rory, Owen, Samuel, Dylan...but hi has "reasons" for not having them all! He's a teacher so we have that issue to contend with too! In an ideal world we'd have Thomas as it's a family name on oh side, but it's also my boss's name (I'm a PA and he's been my boss for 9 years), so I'd find it weird. Humph.

Names I love but we can't have are Edward, Oliver, William, Sidney, James and Charles/Charlie (close friends/family with those names). Suggestions!?

In other news, had a very successful afternoon in Mothercare! Ordered our pram (Silver Cross Wayfarer...SO pleased with it!), Moses basket and stand, buggy board for pram for dd and also bought new bottles. Feel much more organised now! Just need clothes now...and the never ending supply of nappies...!
