One born every minute

Well that woman screaming all the time totally put me off, I now want a general anesthetic

lol. i told lee to slap me if i get like that steph girl. so pathetic. xx

I'm watching it now n I'm actually scared now.
I don't wanna go thru labour. I don't like the look of it. I thought the pain I had before was bad nit to see that it gets worse.......I don't want no part of that

Can I opt out now? Or ask for a c-section???

Im not a screamer but I'm gonna be crying like a 5 yr old

omg tht geeky boy crying, aww i wanted to cuddle him. cant believe the girl wanted her mum there and not him, he looked so upset he wasnt there wen his son was being born :(

Awww i know...poor lad couldn't go in the room she chose her mam, i thought he looked upset by it

Its officially terriefied me!!! lol.

I'm embarrassed! And I'm starting to worry about showing myself up like that woman. God I really hope I'm not like that!

its really not thaaaaaaaaaaat bad! enough to make you do that!that looked lke a bloody exorcism x was so funny loved seeing her flail! ralph was so adorable at the end made me fill up x

i dont think you could care less what your like when your there doin it.
some ppl have an easier birth, some struggle more, so what if you scream the place down, you are pushing a baby trough a little hole that shouldnt be possible! It dont matter how you get that baby out, screamin, swearing, epidurral, whatever. - you are a superwoman no matter what.

agreed!! x

It really isn't that bad! i think she was just making a huge fuss there's no need to scream and swear like she was! xx

I've just watched it - I agree I hope I'm not like that Steph, I thought she wasted her energy screaming and making so much of a fuss (but then I haven't been in labour before so never say never!) and I agree I felt so sorry for Ralph when he couldn't go in and see his son born - what a sweetie! x

I couldn't have delt with the older mw they were sweet but i couldnt have delt with them x

It so looked like the Midwives wanted to shout "Shut up woman"!! They have a lot more patience than I would have with that racket going on!

I've never been in labour so i've no idea how i'm going to be in June but I know 100% I won't be screaming the hospital down! I'd be sooo embarrassed and be thinking "i've gotta face all these ladies afterwards when my pain has gone"!!

I'm not saying i'm going to be silent, i'll probably make lots of weird and wonderful noises but the screaming is not happening for me! I'll just bite my OH's hand so i'm not the only one in pain! hee hee

The only thing thats worrying me about labour at the moment is that when i'm in a lot of pain I can't have people touching me! I just need to be left to get on with it, obviously with my OH near me! I'm a bit worried i'm going to be telling the MW to stop touching me (in a nice way though! lol)

xxx

I didnt think I would be noisy like the other ladies in my delivery but I ended up moaning an groaning alot near the end- like an orgasming cow lol

Well I watched it last night n im getting induced tomorrow, I wish I hadnt watched it cause it frightened me to death. I cant see me screaming n swearing like that woman i thought it was a bit over the top but i wouldnt know what its like x

ooooh if you're having an induction they are in control of the contractions! i had one and felt it was manageable however a few times when they put the drip higher the contractions were over 100% and my god it hurt. there were two times druing the labour i asked for an epidural and it was those 2 times. however they along and turned the drip down and it became mangeable again!

1. I am now officially terrified
2. How many epidurals can you have at the one time? :)
3. Please god don't make me react like that Steph
4. And Ralph, what's up with being scottish!!!!

In my head I was that screaming woman but hubby assures me I didn't scream at all. lol. Funny how you remember things.

I felt really sorry for her. It is so painful and you are really not in control of it and there is a moment when you think "Surely it can't get any worse".... then it does lol.

Ralph was such a sweetheart. Such a lovely lad!
