i was laying there sounding like a cow, couldnt care less what the MWs said about not wasting the energy, the pain i had was unbareble n i couldnt control myself, i was sick everywhere, i keept apoligise to OH n the MWs saying i couldnt do it anymore, seriously, it can be bad.. thats why i dont blame that girl for screaming like that. Nothing could prepare me for labour. I could never imagine how bad it would be.
BUT i would do it again anyday

Clairebear - I am the same as you i hate people touching me although I think I will be ok for them having a look to see what going on but what I will hate is people trying to help by rubbing my back or my Hair or whatever I hate it so much!

Ive got quieter with each child an it really does hurt less the quieter you are! Lol all I remember saying when pushing was "NO THE GAS IS mINE!! your not taking it ANYWHERE!!" and "IT BURNS" lol other than them two out bursts I was quiet lol!!!

Yeah why did they try to take the gas off her when it was time to push? I would knock someone out if they did that!!

I haven't watched it yet lol that was what I said I'm watching it tonight lol they like to take the gas and air off of your when you push coz it helps you concentrate and gas n air doesn't lol I wasn't even sucking on it as this point it was just something to bite and become possessive over lol! Feels like someone has a lighter down there when your crowning lol!

That's awful. I was allowed to keep it but you can't really push and breathe it at the same time so maybe I stopped using it. Only took me 8 mins to push her out

Omg watched it! - wanted to slap that screaming woman! Lol it was so attention I'm giving birth I Want attention! Lol!!! I could have understand if her epidural wasn't working but he said she couldn't feel anything and was still screaming I think she did it coz "women do that in labour" lol!

I felt soooooooo sorry for that man! Picking her mum over him! You could tell the way he talked about her she was everything to him and she looked like she just was annoyed by him or couldn't be arsed! Couldn't work out if he was crying more at missing the birth or his new son!! Poor dear! Just wanted to hug him!

I did find his chatting to her when waiting for labour amusing lol! Made me giggle

Exacally when I had my epidural with bells it was horrible coz it didn't work but she sad she couldn't feel anything! Lol!! And I didn't make that noise! Lol!!! With zander I even let it ware off and didn't make that noice ad with Chloe I had it and after an hour dissided I didn't want it any more so didn't have it fr the last 6 hrs just had gas and air and it was hell! But I still didn't scream like that! Lol I understand the screaming may her vented the frustration with the pain but I just started laughing when she screamed and they said dies it hurt "noooo I can't feeeeel anythinnnng!" lol!!!

perhaps she was scared? a woman in labour deserve all the attention in the world, so if she needs to scream for it, then the MWs didnt do a good enough job.

Everyone does what they have to do to get trough it. there is no right or wrong.

I dont if it is because I am preparing for a hypnobirth, but I couldnt help but laugh at the screamer. Didnt scare me at all, if anything it has me more determined to practice my hypnobirthing techniques more to achieve a non-screamy birth.

I wasnt allowed the gas & air in the pushing stage either...they wanted my to concentrate on pushing which you cant do as well as when you are breathing. Still took my OH a few attempts to pull it out from my gritted teeth though as I didnt want to give it up!

that wasnt a im in pain screaming and i doubt she was that scared the 1 that didnt make a sound look more scared than her, alot of women make humming or grunting noises without realising it but she faked it loads and prob made her labour worse than it would of been, dont get me wrong some people do need to let it out and there is nothing wrong with that but it doesnt actually help it just wears you out
