.. October 2016 Mummies - First Trimester ..

Not sure What to think now.. Had an internal scan, Yolk sac was there and measuring more like 5 1/2 weeks than 6+2, however no embryo and she called it a threatened miscarriage. She has said I have either miscarried when I reached about 5 1/2 weeks and the baby is no longer growing or I am just a couple of days behind what I first thought. There was a white dot on the edge of the yolk sac but she has said she cannot tell if it is an embryo cause it's too early. I have signed myself off work for the rest of the week as she advised to take it easy and am back in 2 weeks for another scan. Any of you already mummies had this and it came out ok? OH says it's good need but im not sure

There has been a few ladies who have went along and turned out earlier than they thought as although the "dates" are correct. Babies implant and grow at different rates, so theres a chance you could be measuring behind a little.

Mrsbee I think went thinking she was over 6 weeks and there had been nothing there and went back a few weeks later to everything fine.

Have they offered to do 48h bloods to see if your bloods are developing.

My early bleed was called a threatened MC aswell, only because any bleeding in early pregnancy is known as that.

I wasn't offered to do any bloods Claire, but she didn't seem very worried so maybe that's why? There was a lot of info to take in so I can't 100% remember everything she said. Just to not worry and return in 2 weeks, there will either be a heartbeat or not. I think I will just remain positive. Thanks for the support xx

Yeah, of course its easier said than done, but you could worry yourself rotten for 2 weeks and all be well. Try only worry if you need to. How is the bleeding now?

As I say I bled from 7-12w it wasnt pleasant, but after a few days and knowing all was fine I kinda got used to it.

I Only had that 1 very small bit of blood yesterday and that was it! So happy with that xxx

Does any1 else feel something moving about in thier belly? I didn't notice it with my other 2 pregnancies however with this one I feel like stuff is moving around near enough all the time. Any1 else noticing this??

I sometimes feel a motion in there, but thinking its probably bubbles or some burrowing going on for further implantation.

I will probably feel earlier movement due to this being my second pregnancy, but not 6w on!

Yer I'm only 4weeks gone but it does feel like something is moving about quite a lot lol!!

Hi girls

Well last night I 'didn't feel pregnant' then woke up this morning and kept being sick! Have been fine rest of the day but then had a cheese toastie about and hour ago and now I can't stop being sick. We are supposed to be going out for dinner with the kids and now I'm scared to eat!!! Lol that's what I get for worrying about my pregnancy symptoms! I'm pretty sure I'm having another wee boy. Textbook same as my last pregnancy. Off same food too x

Hiya yes i had a 5wk scan with arthur and he couldnt be seen, so please dont worry, 5wks is still very early to see anything on scan xx

Im afraid to say its prob wind lol, your bowels change to due to hormones... Xx

Its more likely to be wind, bowels change too with the hormones. Xx
(The surge of hormones you experience during pregnancy can slow down your gastrointestinal tract, which causes excess wind and bloating in virtually every pregnant woman.

You might not be able to do much about it, because you don't have the same control over your muscles during pregnancy.)

Wind in my uterus ? I dont think when I felt implantation it was wind either. I am getting wind. But also feel anything from cramps bubbles stretching pokes.

Obviously I dont think its actual fetal movement, but technically there are movements within my womb as baby is growing

Eek I have another early scan tomorrow!!! Had one at 5+2 and only saw one sac and one fetal pole. This is my second child and I have already been asked if I am pregnant!! My hcg levels at that scan were a whopping 27,000!!!

Tomorrow will be 6+2 fingers crossed a bubba is seen! Xxx

I can't say my diet has been very healthy today! I felt sick so I had sultana bran for breakfast and lunch and a bowl or coco pops and a slice of toast for tea. Must try better tomorrow.

I thought mine was 5w but checked my old journal, I had a few episodes then full on by7w for 9m.

This time Ive been sick 3 times, so we will see how it goes.

I dont feel pregnant ever. The only time was when I was ill and even then that was prob mostly a cold I feel bloated but thats all.

Hope you manage to keep sickness at bay with going out and enjoy your night.

I feel like Im having another boy although I have been less sick this time so far, we will see. I may change to girl once I see shape of my belly etc.

I hope all goes well tomorrow and you get to see that lil heartbeat!! Ive enclosed a helpful table of hcg levels. I think 27,000 is a perfect range for the date your at for a singleton. Although when you say 27000miu it does sound sooo much

My breakfast was a square sausage and bacon sandwich with a tea, a half pineapple, water, a can of irn bru and 2 strips of big dairy milk with another cuppa for afternoon tea then lasange for dinner.

I wouldnt class mine as particularly healthy, its ok

Lots of bubbles, cramps, stretching and tiredness and lets not forget hormones making me very emotional.

How are you feeling. Can you feel something on one side then it moves? Then I get a feeling like pulling behind my belly button.

Booked an appointment with doctor hopefully will book in with midwife then xx

I have no Children yet. Is anybody experiencing and dull ache in lower back? small pains in lower abdomen? Congratulations and welcome

Yes its natural for lots of cramps/aches due to your uterus softening and expanding for baby to grow, as long as its not painful and your notbleeding you should be good.

You need to take folic acid and Vitamin D... Vit d kerps your bones healthy as your body will gove everything to your baby first now, so you need to look after yourself.
