I've been sick a couple of times after eating too much. I find that eating little and often does the trick for me. I guess there's less room for food at the moment, so I let it settle down before I eat again. I did mention it to the midwife, she said it may also be the return of morning sickness and some women kind if relive the symptoms of the first trimester during the last leg (although I didn't have morning sickness, but a touch of nausea).
Just remember to take it a teeny bit more easy that you'd normally do. Your body is working a lot harder than usual without you even realising and you're carrying a baby all day every day! Everytime I feel worked up or like I've been doing a bit too much, I just sit myself down for a bit, watch a bit of telly or go on my phone with a cup of tea and remember that it's okay to take a breather! I figured that out the hard way a few weeks ago after I reeeally overworked and tuckered myself out for days haha
Oh April that sounds terrible. Glad you're on the mend now though!
I've tried to ring midwife all afternoon with no answer, I get it's busy but it's pretty ridiculous the phone rings out all the time. And they'll be closed soon.
My niece was born today. She's so beautiful. 2 days before my daughter's birthday.
I feel like ringing work and telling them I'm leaving. Is that allowed? Or do I have to stick by my date I originally gave. Or would I need a doctors note? X
Baby's head down with her back on my right side and her feet on my left.
My iron levels have apparently been low since my last appointment six weeks ago, so I'm supposed to be a mind reader and know that there was a prescription waiting for me for iron tablets. Twice a day until delivery!
Mayflower sounds like same position as mine is always in.
I've been back to work today and managed quite well still getting regular tightenings (assuming Braxton Hicks) and period pains but haven't been in contact with midwife as I've been to work. I'm gonna ring tomorrow and ask if this many Braxton Hicks is normal. Baby's moving like crazy again.
Unreal. You'd have thought you could trust the hospital to inform us of things like this but clearly not.
Hope you ladies are all feeling better and that your little ones are behaving themselves!
I had my 34 week appt with my consultant today, and she gave us a date for my elective section!! So I am going to have a baby on the 31St October!!! Can't believe I'm having a Halloween baby! It's all feel much more real now!
Oh Emmajaine I would LOVE that. A baby born on Halloween, there's less people born on the 31st of October than any other day. I'm due October 30th.
Is anyone else having TMI** a lot of discharge or wetness? Yesterday it came through my PJs & today when I got out of bed I felt it come out it was quite a lot. Ugh sorry TMI!
Mine was really bad yesterday morning I got up off a chair and the chair was wet I had to clean it & change my clothes. I feel so gross I actually put a pad in. My dog won't leave me alone following me around. Haha xx
Another one with loads of discharge here, have had to change knickers a couple of times its been that bad. I seem to remember it being similar last pregnancy.
Isn't pregnancy just the most attractive thing?? Lol
So after feeling crappy all day, I've just been sick all over our new bathroom (just realised how small our new toilet is..) not sure what caused it but I had severe heartburn moments before then an urge to be sick.
Me too with discharge. Mainly feels a bit like the moment when you would normally think 'oh no I've just come on' How delightful!
I've been a lot better after being sick the other day. Have been a bit more tired on a morning (as well as the normal tired on an evening) but I think it's just probably as I'm getting to the more tired stage now. I think my bumps got bigger in the last couple of days too. Xx
Im finding movements a lot more uncomfortable now. I feel awful saying it but they aren't like 'aww' it's more like 'oh can you stop it please that's not pleasant!' but nothing painful. I'm just finding them a bit weird! Not really enjoying pregnancy anymore I don't think, gotten a bit bored of it now xx
Same. Although feet under the ribs seriously hurts.
I haven't enjoyed this pregnancy like I did with my first. I thought, with this being my last, I'd be feeling sad not to experience all this again but in actual fact I'm quite relieved. X
