November Mummies! <3

Just a question on why you chose Aptamil? I used this for a few weeks with my daughter & we switched to Cow & Gate as I looked and they were both exactly the same, even made by the same company but c&g was cheaper. Maybe only a couple of pounds per box but it soon adds up. X

I chose C&G for the same reasons as you Starchild!

I'm in sooooo much pain, the pressure in my pelvis is making it impossible to walk. What have I done? :(

Baby has possibly engaged!

I woke through night & I've got a full on cold, just brilliant. X

I’m just recovering from a cold, a lot of people seems to be getting colds a few weeks before baby

No me either Mayflower. I caught my cold from my toddler so think it's just down to that.

I got my MA letter through which is a stress off my mind. I'm actually getting more than I was being paid at work. Until July which is great news. X

Spend two hours waiting to see the consiltant :) when I finally got seen, she asked how baby was moving (cos I was refered to her as I’ve been in three times with decreased movements, last time was a month ago and they insisted that I still needed to see someone a month later eventhough I said I was fine now) and she looked at me funny like I was wasting her time. I waited two hours and was in there for three minutes exactly. She basically just said it was silly for me to come in a month later with everything being fine.

At least everything is fine though.

I've a midwife appointment tomorrow. Could be my last at 38+3 it was with my daughter.

Sick of restless nights waking up with period pains now. X

I don't see anyone now until 41 weeks! I'm still amazed at how different all of our appointment schedules are when we're all under the NHS.

My midwife was putting in an urgent referral for a consultant appointment about the size of baby, but I feel like time is running out! Baby will either arrive or I'll get to 41 weeks when I see the consultant anyway.

I only went for Aptamil as I didn't see any other choice (ready made alternatives to breastfeeding), I've never seen another brand unless it's powdered milk with the rest. Only got them as a backup though so I'm not fussed - hoping I won't need them at all!

We have midwife here in the morning for home visit and to do birth plan! Not really sure what to expect. My midwife is so lovely though.

I've just had a nice hot bath and now sat with a cider (non alcoholic) about to dry my hair. Got my first card and a little bunch of lilies from one of the girls at work today as it was our last shift together before I leave on Saturday. Xx

Sorry ive been awol again! Alot going on. Hows everyone feeling? Have we had any early babes yet? Xxx

I'm having a lot of groin & pelvic pain today.

Don't think we've any babies just yet. I'm due a week on Monday though. X

Well just got home from our routine midwife appointment at 1pm.... blood pressure was up so had to get a profile, they've let me come home tonight, but back in at 8am tomorrow to see the consultant who is going to be discussing induction! So yeah we could have a baby by the end of the week... :|

Oh wow, hope everything is ok.

I've got the worst back ache this evening, can't get comfortable at all.

Backache here too. I swapped with OH in hospital for the uncomfortable chair as it hurts to lay down / slump. I'd rather be sat up. Lol! X

Hi, my resting blood pressure is acceptable & I have no signs of pre eclampsia, blood tests & urine samples which is good so I just have to have my blood pressure checked everyday. If it goes up again I'll be reevaluated. And I'll be getting a sweep on my due date. X

Ohh glad to hear it's not preeclampsia! How come you're having a sweep? (Sorry if that's a dumb question)

My midwife said I'm measuring perfectly and head is engaged but she couldn't give me an estimated weight? Don't think they do it here :(

My midwife has never given me an estimated weight either, just says my bump measures right for my weeks. I don't see her again now so I've no idea if baby's engaged or not. It feels like it from the amount of pressure, but I've no idea. With my daughter the midwife used to tell me how far down she was 2/5ths, 3/5ths etc. This time I've not a clue.

I only know baby's weight from the growth scan at the hospital.
