Finally had my dating scan and everything was perfect. Baby was wriggling away but very shy as the whole time it had is hand covering its face so not the clearest of pics. Got put back 1 day so offices due date is now 24th August but as we are an elective section baby will come earlier than this. So relieved everything is perfect so far.

My confirmed due date is 1st sept but will be sectioned at 39 werks so i'm august through and through!

6 days until tri 2 yippee!!!!!
I am a section too JJ mum so baby should arrive round about the 17th. 20 week scan booked for 17th April. God that seems ages away. I will be 21+4 days by then.

I am a section too JJ mum so baby should arrive round about the 17th. 20 week scan booked for 17th April. God that seems ages away. I will be 21+4 days by then.

Gosh Michelle that's a wait! Mines just been booked for the 15th which i think is 20 plus 1!

Just hope baby doesn't decide to come earlier, I found having a section really pleasant and relaxed, not sure how I would cope if I went naturally!!!

If you pop early they might just do an emergency section only not fully as emergency as some.
I popped at 36 weeks last time due to sudden bleeding ( god i'm such a bleeder!) and they assesed me in daytime and decided to whip baby Roman out at 9 pm all of a sudden!

I guess it all comes down to baby in the end they decide when and how they come into the world. we have no say in the matter.

Thank you for remembering JJ. I am sorry for not updating. All went well which is a great relief after my MMC last year. The same lady scanned me and remembered so it was surreal. Baby didn't want to behave so took an hour to get the measurements but all seemed okay for downs, of course waiting for the blood results. Both DH and I are very happy with the result.
