My dukan diet diary

Day 15 (cruise phase - pure protein day):
Breakfast - oat bran porridge
Lunch - scrambled eggs and bacon, sliced topside beef, sliced ham
Dinner - chilli with natural yoghurt, blackcurrant jelly, fat free strawberry yoghurt
Drinks - water, tea with skimmed milk, diet coke
Exercise - 30m running on wii fit
Comments - starting to feel bored of eating meat now! Would have really fancied a bacon sandwich at lunch time and some rice with my chilli! I'm still sticking with it though
 
Day 15 results:
Weight: 10st 12lbs (-1lb so -7lbs total)
BMI: 23.91 (+0.07 so -0.94 total )
:-( first BMI increase after two days of pure protein. Think maybe I didn't drink enough water but a bit disheartening

Didn't put in yesterday's food so here goes:

Day 16 (cruise phase - protein/veg day):
Breakfast - oat bran porridge
Lunch - bacon, mushroom and tomato omelette, raspberry yoghurt
Dinner - chicken tikka masala without the sauce, mushroom bhaji and bhoona prawn and puri, vanilla yoghurt, black currant jelly
Drinks - diet coke, water, tea with skimmed milk and 1.5 glasses champagne
Exercise - 30m running on wii fit
Comments - helped my bro by an engagement ring and were offered free champers so couldn't really refuse! Then had Indian at my mums but did at least avoid the rice and naan

Day 16 results:
Weight: 10st 13lbs (+1lb so -6lbs total)
BMI: 24.01 (+0.10 so -0.84 total )
:-( but to be expected after champagne and curry!
 
Day 17 (cruise phase - pure protein day):
Breakfast - oat bran porridge
Lunch - 2x hard boiled eggs, sliced ham, strawberry yoghurt and strawberry jelly
Dinner - chilli with natural yoghurt, blackcurrant jelly, fat free vanilla yoghurt
Drinks - water, tea with skimmed milk, diet coke
Exercise - 30m running on wii fit
Comments - went to a friends for lunch and resisted mince pies and biscuits and I have also tried to drink
More water so lets hope I can reverse yesterday's increase
 
Day 17 results:
Weight: 10st 13lbs (no change so -6lbs total)
BMI: 24.01 (no change so -0.84 total )
I had hoped for a loss after being strict with food yesterday but seem to have hit a bit of a plateau at the moment. Will try drinking lots and lots of water today to see if I can get things heading in the right direction again

Lunch - chicken caesar salad
Dinner - salmon fillet, sliced topside beef, vanilla yoghurt, raspberry jelly
Drinks - diet coke, water, tea with skimmed milk and a cappuccino
Exercise - 20m gardening (omg raking leaves is hard work!)
Comments - I managed to leave the croutons in my salad but it had sauce and cheese shavings which I couldn't avoid and which we're v tasty!!
 
Day 18 results:
Weight: 10st 11lbs (-2lbs so -8lbs total)
BMI: 23.70 (-0.31 so -1.15 total )
Woohoo :yay: after drinking more water and a couple of days of hovering at around 10st 12/13 I have managed to drop down again. V pleased :) I think my body sometimes needs a couple of days to "permit" a further weight loss so I must remember that if I appear to get stuck again

Breakfast - oat bran porridge
Lunch - spicy Moroccan chickpea and tomato soup
Dinner - turkey roast dinner, half chocolate torte
Drinks - diet coke, water, tea with skimmed milk and about five glasses of wine!!
Exercise - 20 swimming lengths
Comments - Broke the rules today as I had a night out with the ladies from my post natal group hence the wine, roast potatoes (I only ate two out of four), stuffing (I only ate one of two balls) and choc pudding (I only ate half)
 
Day 19 results:
Weight: 10st 13lbs (+2lbs so -6lbs total)
BMI: 23.98 (+0.28 so -0.87 total )
I suppose it's not really surprising after last night!!
 
Day 20 (cruise phase - protein/veg day):
Breakfast - oat bran porridge
Lunch - chicken and chorizo skewers, sliced topside beef
Snack - mince pie!!
Dinner - coq au vin, roasted sweet potatoes, cauliflower cheese, parsnips, thin slice apple pie
Drinks - diet coke, water, tea with skimmed milk and a hot chocolate
Exercise - nothing specific
Comments - another day of rule breaking and third day of veg do need to get back on the pure protein tomorrow

BMI: 24.05 (+0.07 so -0.80 total )
Predictable result but I'm back on it today!!
 
Day 21 (cruise phase - pure protein day):
Breakfast - oat bran porridge
Lunch - 2x hard boiled eggs, sliced ham, strawberry jelly
Dinner - chicken with quark cheese and bacon, fat free vanilla yoghurt
Drinks - water, tea with skimmed milk, diet coke
Exercise - nothing specific as was working today
Comments - think I have been pretty good today although maybe not drunk enough water
 
I didn't get a chance to weigh in this morning so no results to post for day 21
 
Day 22 (cruise phase - pure protein day):
Breakfast - oat bran porridge
Lunch - (ate mid afternoon) bacon and scrambled eggs, strawberry jelly
Dinner - (no proper dinner just snacked) sliced ham, raspberry yoghurt, black currant yoghurt and strawberry jelly, small slice of cheese and one roses chocolate
Drinks - water, tea with skimmed milk, diet coke, black coffee with sweetener
Exercise - nothing specific as was working again
Comments - think I have been pretty good today again but only really had one meal as it was 3pm by the time I got home from court and picking Ella up, let's hope I see some positive results when I weigh in

Day 22 results:
Weight: 10st 12lbs (-1lb so -7lbs total)
BMI: 23.83 (-0.22 so -0.92 total )
Going in the right direction again
 
Day 23 (cruise phase - protein/veg day):
Breakfast - oat bran porridge
Lunch - sliced topside beef, carrot and pepper with low fat houmous
Dinner - bacon, fried eggs and mushrooms, cherry yoghurt, black currant jelly
Drinks - diet coke, water, tea with skimmed milk
Exercise - nothing specific
Comments - nothing particular to report
 
Todays weigh in...
Day 23 results:
Weight: 10st 12lbs (no change so -7lbs total)
BMI: 23.88 (+0.05 so -0.87 total )
Pretty much the same as yesterday but it was a veg day so hoping a pure protein day will do the trick on another downwards movement tomorrow
 
Day 24 (cruise phase - pure protein day):
Breakfast - oat bran porridge
Lunch - chicken, chorizo and pepper skewers
Dinner - sliced beef, ham and eggs, raspberry yoghurt and black currant jelly
Drinks - water, tea with skimmed milk, diet coke, black coffee with sweetener
Exercise - walked into and around Winchester
Comments - been good with food but probably not drinking enough water at the moment
